About Lingard situation, at first I thought the management is stupid to ask 12M GBP, just get some money la stupid.

But then I think they are correct, they actually refuse to sell Lingard to Newcastle.

With so many upgraded new players, Newcastle have high chance to avoid relegated, but who knows. But if we loan Lingard to them, it is actually helping them to do so.

Tbh, Newcastle is inevitable to become the next City in 5 ~ 6 years later. Management see no reason to helping them to do so. The ideal situation is where Newcastle still relegated so their process to become top club is delayed.

So I think management making correct decision this time. Lingard is unfortunately being sacrificed.
