Won't they spoil market for other models if they do that? They already got Waja, Gen-2 and Persona at that range.

in case u haven't been keeping up with the automotive industry, all cars now make use of plastic to reduce the relative weight of cars for better fuel effeciency. lower budget cars, not only the Saga but all in its class, use lower grade plastic. more expensive models use better quality plastic. proton is in fact, a little late in catching up. our cars were still using alluminium engine blocks when everyone else switched to plastic, including mercedes benz, volkswagen and BMW. and i'm no proton fanboy.

p/s: on a side note, Perodua's plastic is somewhat of a better quality. I don't know for sure, but aren't they now using the same manufacturer/supplier? DBM Hicom?

sometimes the waiting time depends on your luck and how big is the showrooms..Seriously the bigger the showroom is the more likely u'll get your car faster compared to smaller one because of their capability to keep stocks and usually bigger showrooms is kinda like tier 1 distribution for proton.

haha seriously the waiting kills, at least it killed my sis haha. The proton showroom outside my house here (Cheras) have tons of new car coming in. But still no sign of the mountain blue colour that my sis booked...

My sis booked on sat/sun after the car were launched and were told if black or green can get it within this week as the stock is ready. see its pretty fast i dun like green, but black seems ok. Looks more fierce to me hehe

just got my saga last friday, i got the auto version , overall ride and handling is good.Power is lacking. i get around 250KM for RM50 for 70% city driving + 30% highway driving.I am really disappointed with the build quality,there are already weird sounds coming from here n there, i get "krak krak" sound coming from engine bay whn moving,and the engine sometime makes "tak tak tak" sound like diesel engine.Somemore there is something loose in the speedo, i can hear vibration sound from the speedo.gonna goreng potong whn i send the car for 1st 1000 KM service.Anyone have the same problem as me?
