I guess now a day hard to say which good or not. Dependa on luck mostly. If got lemon unit then bad. But if can just go for well known Jipunis brand.
My home using sharp brand for almost 20 yrs already now. Never have any problem so far. |

QUOTE(KennyKB @ Dec 20 2021, 06:04 PM) My Hitachi fridge is 10 years old and still going strong. My Toshiba washing machine lasted 7 years. Okay, no complaints. Fridge..anything Jap except T brand. Hitachi, Mitsu, Sharp generally reliable..most of Hitachi lineup got dual cooling fan When buying home appliances stick to established Japanese brands like Hitachi, Toshiba, Sharp and Panasonic. Stay away from Samsung unless it's a smartphone or a TV. My most disappointing purchase was a Samsung multi-function printer. Only lasted a year with very light home use. Disgusted is more like it. Toshiba took over by MIDEA already. It is all PRC. I had a toshiba fridge die in 5.5yrs, BER and donate to lorry driver. Bought two Hitachis actually. One R-VG490P8M and the R-S800P2M very nice been using for 2 or 3 yrs no issue. Samseng is an embarassment for korean electronics. LG washer good. Especially direct drive model. If budget tight cannot FL then get a Sharp no holes TL (top loader). Buy bigger one so easier to wash curtains etc. If small one like 8kg do not overload the shit out of it then it will last long. |

Use Hitachi fridge for almost 10 years. Zero problem, still cold and quiet. Very low electricity bill.
