Open the Control Panel.
Click Network and Internet.
Click Network and Sharing Center.
On the left pane, click Change adapter settings.
Right-click the network interface connected to the internet, then click Properties.
Choose Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).
Click Properties.
Click Use the following DNS server addresses.
Click Advanced.
Enter 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220 in the DNS server fields.
Click OK, then click Close.

Now, let us turn our attention to the next public DNS Server – CleanBrowsing. It has three free public DNS Server options – an adult filter, a security filter, and a family filter. These DNS Servers are used as security filters. The basic ones of the three updates hourly for blocking phishing as well as malware sites. The configuration settings of the primary DNS is 185.228.168.9, whereas the configuration settings of the secondary DNS is 185.228.169.9.
IPv6 is also supported on the configuration setting 2aod:2aOO:1::2 for the primary DNS whereas the configuration setting for the secondary DNS 2aod:2aOO:2::2.
The adult filter of the public DNS Server (configuration setting 185.228.168.10) that prevents access to adult domains. On the other hand, the family filter (configuration setting 185.228.168.168) allows you to block VPNs, proxies, and mixed adult content. The paid plans have many more features as well.
