Hi All,

I recently got 2 donated monitors which are faulty:

1. DELL Ultrasharp monitor has issues on the bottom and right side of the monitor.
2. Samsung monitor screen somehow has it's top layer on the monitor peeling.

Does anyone know anywhere who will repair them for cheap or should I just discard them if the repairs is too expensive?

I'm looking for anyone to help repair them in the Klang Valley if possible.

As these are for charity, I cannot spend too much on the repairs as I also have allocated some monies to repair other devices.

check if its LED or CCFL based backlight lcd.
Older CCFL based is not worth repairing.

Yeah usually the repair cost is close to buying new so these shops dont repair because the customers rather buy new

I understand new monitors do not cost much.

I'm looking to see if I can salvage these donated monitors for cheap since I already have them.

Both the symptoms you mention are faulty/ failed/ expired panels. Really not economical to repair.

Just get a new one. Not worth to repair and it will spoil again.
