Alright, but sometimes when i plugged in the charger, my phone does not detect it. Tried with my iPad cable and its the same. Had to remove and plug in several times before it detects. Not sure if the problem is with the 5w brick, so I'm looking to get a new charger and was contemplating between the 20W or 5W.

Anyone here have experience with the plan like device replacement due to screen crack or water damage? Does machines have rule or level of damage in order to give device replacement?

I use the 5W charger whenever I'm not in a rush, I don't have the issue you mentioned.

I see, for my case i hsd this issue on my previous iphone xs and now the issue seems ro be broughy forward to my 13 pro. I will try to buy the 20w charger to see if i can get this issue fixed.

maybe the cable connector is too dirty already, I have issue with my cable, just wipe clean it with alcohol swab and problem solved.

or just change new cable should solve the issue.

maybe get a new charging brick or cable can solve your issue

i have been thinking of getting a 5w charger as well but apple only sell 5w usb charger

Maybe your phone charger connector already full of dust which cause the phone not able to detect the charger. Bring it to any phone shop repair and they can assist to clean it up.

Yeah, i've just ordered the 5w brick with new cable from switch. waiting for them to deliver but could take some time though.

Actually the issue happened on my XS and i have cleaned the port and sometimes this issue happens. but i recently switched to 13 pro and on my first time charging the phone the same thing happened which puzzles me. I've ordered a new charger brick and cable and waiting for it to arrive to test. Hopefully it fixes the issue.

I have tried with different cable but still the same. Ordered a new charger online on Tuesday and will test and see once it's arrived.

Since you just bought it recently, the phone should have the warranty to cover the defect.

You should have test it first using their cable charger at Switch shop.

i reset ip13pm 2 times.

(1) confirm that it is optional to reset without removing cellular plan (i.e. eSIM can survive while reset everything else)

(2) "Move to IoS" failed 5 times to copy even if only opted to carry over SMS messages.

(3) Watch Series 7 remains paired after restoring backup from iCloud (made right before the resets).
