Any recommended tire for size 215/50/R17 for 2005 Honda Accord 2.0?
First time looking tire for this size so I have no idea even the price range...
If budget is around RM280 per pcs for decent tire is it possible?
Prefer comfort but also safe on road during wet and dry.

Thank you very much

RM280 you can only look for budget tires. Budget tires dont have much high expectation in term of handling in dry or wet. If normal drive should be sufficient, but sportier drive might be wary.

Budget tires to consider like Dayton, Sportiva, Archillis, landsail, linglong, Maxxis, CST, Westlake.

Would recommend to bump up to around 3xx/pcs to get middle range tire like Falken, Toyo, Yokohama, Hankook for better performance & safety concern.

If you drive below the speed limit, I would still recommend a mid range tyre for safety reason with our rainy season.
Just top up slightly for a peace of mind as you will be using it for at least 2 -3 years and sum up to >Rm10/ month.

A good suspension also play an important role in the stability and maximise friction between tyre and road.

Alright, guess the budget is not enough for famous tire brands....

Do you have the model of the tire with budget slightly top up?

Although it's an old car but overall suspension condition performance still okay.

For me the GOODYEAR EAGLE F1 SPORT are value for the money.
For your size 215/59 R17 will be ~ Rm350.
Next will be Falken 510.

In no particular order of preference for below RM300 choices. Just for price references, no need buy from these shops.

Nexen Nfera SU4

Hankook Ventus Prime 3

Toyo Proxes CR1

Pirelli P6 Powergy (Old 2019 stock)

Okay, after looking around for tire, only choice are Toyo CR1 and Hankook Ventus Prime 3
Price are similar, toyo one rm340/pcs and hankook one rm330/pcs.
Did some research they both performance almost identical, don't know how to choose now....
Btw the toyo one is slightly thicker size 215/55/R17.

Tires available at my area are:
Rydanz
Toyo CR1
Hankook K125
Goodyear Efficient Grip, Goodyear excellence
Falken ZE914 ecorun
And 3 more budget tire not well known brand, forgot the name....

It might be interesting to add that the car is now using atlas mix land sail tire, maybe all tires above is much better than the old tires?

At least go back to take back that 2 original bolts.

You didn't say where are you based, so can't rekomen any shop to do alignment.

Accord no need camber nut to adjust camber, just bent the L arm with jack...
Im from kuantan and it's very hard to fine real good shop to do tire anymore, even engine repair work also like shit.

Three-A tyres also reasonable price.
I bought for my Altis 205/55/16 only RM185 /pc
Good in dry and wet.

Heck, it is half the price of a popular brand. I can replace this set of tyres more frequently.
