I also taking Solaray 'Provide' which has Vitamins and Minerals.all the el-cheapo brands. I consume on alternate days.
Cos I also taking very expensive meds for my High BP and cholesterol. So left little money for Vitamins.

Whatever it is, Vitamin B12 is a must for me. I take 2 days 1 time. Neurobion brand.

Interesting topic. When I was younger, I used to take multivitamins. Then I stopped because I believed that "you get all your needs from your diet". I've now started taking Centrum again at about RM 100/200 tablets.

In a perfect world with a balanced diet I am sure I would not need any supplements. But here's the thing - I don't have a balanced diet, and I dare say not many of us do. I also skip meals sometimes (for whatever reason), or eat the same thing at different meals (satay for lunch, and satay for dinner? Why not?!), and I am sure I don't consume enough say, Omega3 from fish everyday. I also want to make sure that my vitamin "B"s are adequate, as I have had a low hb blood count before. There's only so much green, leafy vegetables I can eat in a day, ya' know.

My personal opinion is that I should take supplements because of the above reasons, so I do. Also don't forget, the placebo effect is real. If you think you are taking better care of your general health by taking supplements, it can turn out to be so! In conclusion, since taking supplements don't require excessive time, money and effort, but may have some benefits, I do.

Keyword highlighted, even if u do, is it diverse enough to get all the vitamins, minerals, fibre etc?

I only take supplements on alternate days if I didn’t forget sweat.gif Just a minor backup to daily diet.
