I don't understand what is Zendaya's role in this movie or why they even cast her
Hardly any dialogue, hardly any emotion.
Like a piece of wood.
Even a piece of wood has more use.

She will play a bigger role in Part 2.

Aiya if everything also need to explain, this will turn out like the 1984 Dune movie, every scene must have explanation & every character's inner thought also need to be said on screen. Damn cringe man.

For the sake of the medium change, I feel like it is probably ok to cut some details from the books. If the movie said that Spice is needed for interstellar travel and don't elaborate further, then I feel that it's enough. They made their point.

Love it. I do hope one day they will make the adaptation until the sixth book. Leto II sandworm god emperor must be awesome CGI.

Skarsgard's Baron Harkonnen looked pretty muscular in addition to being fat. Not just fat.

He gives a strongman type of fat person vibe, not obese type of fat person vibe. More menacing.

The Jedis must have learnt their mind tricks from the Bene Gesserit.

he suppose to be gluttonous,.. not athletics,..

the "Gaban" suits looks awesome too!

George Lucas has said he took many inspirations from earlier SF movies, Dune included.

the way the movie is shot is meant to be consumed on a large screen
watching on a smol tv (55) feels underwhelming
