wow so P6 and above officially support VOLTE in malaysia, big news. I can unroot my phone finally, but I would lose the ability to screen calls and hold for me.

P7 is nice though I like the macro mode, think will skip and wait for 8, no point upgrade phone every year

Interestingly when I un-root my phone when applying update, the screen call and hold for me stays. So I remained unroot until now. And w QPR, now I got Volte. So complete package 🤗

iinm GB7N6 is global version model number, should have no problem receiving OTA and OS update.

last time I checked, I received notification that my pixel was ready for Android 13 update.

Filed a complaint to MCMC months ago about VOLTE availability for Google Pixels. Just received a response from Celcom rep via MCMC portal:

"Resolved On: 10/17/2022 4:51:57 PM
Resolved By: Mohd Armyzy CX Governance CELCOM
Reason:

as information, the device you are using is a Google Pixel 6 model, we have activated the VoLTE function since 25/09/2022. If it is found that it is still not working properly, we recommend that you take the device to a nearby authorized distributor for the software update process. For your update, there is still no official store to these devices in Malaysia."

I'm on the latest stable release of A13. Celcom is probably talking about the QPR release? Not sure.

Most likely it is the QPR .. the CC don't have a clue .. funny take device to nearby authorized distributor but then end it with no official store

Seems by default p7p is VoLTE enable out of the box ... hopefully will come to p6 variants too soon
