Nothing really special about them, except that they are able to raise dairy cow at this climate and possibly under cut imports while still delivering high quality dairy milk.

Their ability to produce high quality milk in South East Asia climate and to take market share from imports such as New Zealand in key countries with large demographics such as Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand will be key.

All in all, need to see what is their valuation first and whether they can further grow in this saturated and matured industry. If cannot penetrate key market, or key market also has established dairy cow farmers then this will not turn out great.

DL hasn’t been doing well for the past few years as their revenue/profit growth has been stagnant. Also their profits are not re-invested for expansion too (majority is paid out as dividends )

FF on the other hand is currently reporting a 2 year growth 65.89% CAGR and downline 14.91%.. Also they have their own cows and multiplying in assets every year.

Still on the fence tho, I also prefer US market for its better growth and profits potential, but keeping an eye out locally cause of all the recession bells going on

If you worried then why bother looking at it doh.gif

The company is doing badly the past few years which is why Khazanah is trying hard to disposed it and looking for suckers to bite it doh.gif

Don’t expect super growth prices as milk prices has been declining around the world due to oversupply, alternatives and cost of production doh.gif
