Eh no one notice Farm Fresh IPO here? The shareholding structure of Farm Fresh and its shareholder is so messy to understand them.

What do you mean. Besides a government body hold some percentage of share. Farm Fresh does not look like keep having projects and long receivable tenure. But, I would like to know more as I am interested to this company as well.

The actual IPO date is not confirmed yet right?

It's ipo..folks will buy thinking all ipos will go up and if the ipo fails... then they start their blame game.

How much we can buy per IPO application?
Will it become harder if apply in high value ?

DL hasn’t been doing well for the past few years as their revenue/profit growth has been stagnant. Also their profits are not re-invested for expansion too (majority is paid out as dividends )

FF on the other hand is currently reporting a 2 year growth 65.89% CAGR and downline 14.91%.. Also they have their own cows and multiplying in assets every year.

Still on the fence tho, I also prefer US market for its better growth and profits potential, but keeping an eye out locally cause of all the recession bells going on

Saw their past few years profits. Profits growth had been impressive. Not bad.

but then... it's an ipo.... 

I typically invest about 2-5% per stock of my portfolio only unless blue chip, so no worries. As l said looking at local market atm as US market recession bells are ringing.

to be frank.. im not sure wanna proceed with this iPO or not.. anyting above rm1.00.. its risky now.. with the Russia and Ukraine crisis...

not yet decide whether wanna proceed or not....

This over promotion of FF is starting to make me skeptical.

Granted it's still a solid company but the rate of so many new investors I predict the first few weeks the price will fluctuate like crypto.

Also looking at few "P" lowyat  forum members that giving glowing reports... There's sure big scale marketing going on by the IPO promoters....

only dumb money buys at ipo or chase ipo... lol

marketing 101... sell when market is hot... ppl is flush with money... full of optimism... use rosy projections jack up pe... and sell to suckers... lol

see coin listing... cathie wood bought made headlines... and it tanked 51% after... lol

but she got no choice ah imho... force to place bet at listing... also syok sendiri ego... hahaha

My own real life example:
I bought senheng IPO for 1.07. On day one it fell down to 90 cents. I stop loss at 88 cents. Today the price is 85 cents and going lower. So yea lost a few hundred bucks with 2k investment. If I put in 10k, losses will be even more.

Exact losses for my senheng: 2000 units x 1.07 = RM2140
On day I sell coz I saw price keep drop: 2000 units x 0.88 =  RM1760
Loss of RM380

No one can tell exactly how the market will respond once stock is listed on first day. If you can take the risk then go ahead. IPO is like gambling. I’d rather wait for price to stable first (after listed) before going in. IPO can either drop a lot, or go up a lot on first week itself after listing.

Those post is a tad misleading also, FF did stated somewhere in the prospectus that their fresh milk supply is never enough and they do source it out from 3rd Malaysian party farmer. Fresh ~ pasteurized but not dehydrated; FF mission is to process milk from farm to shelf within 48 hrs

The imported Aus process milk is most likely utilized for their UHT, Kurma, Chocolate, Coffee which do not require refrigeration.

Buying or not? for me IPO is a probability game, the pass 2 years IPOs, 80 percent-ish went up on the first day. Yes, I did loss my ass off on Sen Heng but Siab, Coraza, Swift, Atech, Ctos etcs should handsomely covers that. The stop limit button is there for a reason…..

if fly after listing... you buy still can profit... untung less but also less risk...

when you give a statement, do elaborate further, don't just pluck anything randomly.

for the benefit for everyone. not everyone read the prospectus or understand the financial bit, the worrying cash flow you talk about.

Don't get emotionally attached to the IPO as to the milk. They're different.

Don't be surprised if Bumi allocation high oversubscribed vs Public lower rate or even undersubcribe 😁
