Yes, actually for investment is quite good. Bangsar South most projects are like that. Don't think is a main problem. Most importantly this project has high potential to cover your instalment from just the rental itself.

Bought a unit for investment myself too.

how u know lowest ? war between southlink n southview ... see who best only .
who win oso not yet finalize i think .
laurel gt advantages ... newer , not so crowded , got another road keluar and not so loud compare .
just my opinion la .. dun get mad at me . XD

It’s not wrong to have an opinion. The more opinions the better. This whole “ own stay” or buy if you like it is a complete cop out. All high rise should be evaluated on the same criteria, landed will be a separate category.

It matters when there is an oversupply of units and developers are desperate for sales. Buyers have the upper hand and should shop wisely. It matters because so many people have their wealth tied up in their family home.

Even buying a home that has no future prospects doesn’t do you any favours, let alone thinking about it for short to medium term investment.

Its not a problem like southlink parking. There are pro and cons. Pro is u dont need to buy high floor to get lower parking. Cons might be need to remember ur parking everyday. But in southlink the parking a lot available because a lot unit rent out without carpark. So not so hard to remember as well. U have chance to park back to same spot also. I always went southlink lastime almost everyday find was easy. Uoa parking is ramp design so dont have to turn many round to go up in level and come down in level. But not sure if laurel using this design. May b u can check with laurel agent.

Just my humble opinion. I own unit in southlink. I think laurel might or might not do well like SL.

Might do well because demand for small unit in BS and also ppl work in KL Sentral will come over to rent here. Provided BPO company keep on recruiting ppl to work in Msia. Currently what i see a lot tenant from BOP company and oversea student from UM.

Might not do well because new supply come in and are small unit the rental will have competition among each other. And laurel need to walk across the office building to reach lrt so for those rely on lrt may have 2nd thought. Then another reason is mrt station building next to laurel it will create noise, air pollution and traffic congestion. And will last till year 2030 for mrt 3 completion. And laurel complete year 2024.

What i can see obvious difference between the two are SL has commercial element downstairs with foodcourt and starbucks opening recently is convenient for tenant. Can be a pull factor for tenant like convenience access to f&b. Laurel stand out in terms of facility will attract tenant enjoy lifestyle.

Just my opinion la. If u secure a unit may be can have few strategy to get rental

1. Rent out whole unit with unique ID
2. Room rental
3. Get dual key keep one for longterm and another studio as shorterm rent
4. Design ur unit with special feature ie with smarthome feature like google home

The above just my little opinion after Own and cover sales and rental in SL unit. 😊

Agree with some of ur point .. but some really not .
if Mrt create noise, air pollution and traffic congestion so do SL is jst beside the highway. SL should is louder.
we have yet to know where is the mrt3 located and how far the sound will reach laurel. in long run . i think laurel shd be better because mrt3 is underground .
opposite laurel 50m and walking distance was like 1minute++. they have starbuck n foods .. why tenant shd be worry ?

5% Rebate is no longer available based on the latest package.

Current package
10% Discount from the Original Price. 0% Rebate (used to have be 6% rebate 2 months ago).
Lowest price for 495 SQFT unit now is RM450,000 - 10% Disc = Total RM405,000 (SPA PRICE). No more rebate.
