As normal peasant, I believe these MM2H cause us to suffer higher prop prices. Their spending here at most benefit boss level ppl, not peasants.

Non renewal can also due to pandemic movement restriction.

Yup, most MM2H is no investors. I opined that they contribute to inflation for prop and other prices than benefiting normal peasants. Only certain business bosses gain from their present here.

I recall prop price hike happened when Najiiis started this MM2H shit. Prop price hike spill over to non MM2H prop as land banks market is not isolated. Everything is inter-linked.

Look at every city in the world, cities that were targeted by foreigners (be it angmoh or rich Tongshan) mostly inflated local prop prices until the local ppl can’t afford it.

Only those who goreng prop or developers benefit from their presence. Normal peasants will suffer rather than benefit from it.

Prop price hike due to foreigners are pretty common in many cities around the world. Even angmoh ppl also become victim of rich foreigners jacking up their local prop prices.

I knew of MM2H participants in early stage only spent around RM300k for PG island condo. Seldom stay here, but they definitely benefited from condo price hike in the later years should they sell out their unit even at current gloomy market.

Developers were in frenzy building ever more pricier units to profit from MM2H in earlier years. The whole prop market is inter-related. Impossible to have zero spill over effect.

I’m aware of the MM2H program way before they reset the prop floor price for participants. One angmoh bought around 300k prop in PG, only after ppl make noise then only slowpoke federal govt revise the floor price. Still the whole prop is inter-related.
