More than half of MM2H participants not renewing visas, survey shows

MORE than half of Malaysia My 2nd Home (MM2H) applicants are considering moving to other Southeast Asian countries as they cannot meet the new requirements for approval, a recent survey showed.

Held by the programme’s consultant association (MM2HCA), the survey of 925 foreign respondents, including from Europe and the United States, showed that 98% of the MM2H participants did not meet the new conditions for the long-stay programme, leaving them with no choice but to consider Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia and Singapore as alternatives.

Kick out higher income n educated foreigners and keep low income and uneducated foreigners

but at the same time we welcome those illegal immigrant... only contribute to the crime and low level work ...


Some of the PR they actually can transition/know how some of their work experience to the local people here due to their exposure in other countries. which is a benefit for our country/people.

maybe its just typical greediness and wanted immediate gains sacrificing long term benefits.

what outcome did govt expect?

That conditions, i think many met, but why here and not else where on the same criteria

Bila nak cope loses, naik harga. Bodo economy 101 pun tak tau. This way is confirm die in business.

I have said this many times, when it comes to globalization our gomen is clueless. They still think local policies can be implemented for internationally. Topkek!

Even those who can meet the requirements may think twice about renewing their permit in light of this clueless government.

may be it is best time MM2H for talibun or rohinya. LOL

Honestly if they qualify for the new requirements they would look elsewhere too lol
