Which telco has the cheapest SMS plan? prepaid/postpaid

currently doing an IoT project which has an SMS fallback in case there's 2G/GPRS connectivity fails. Planning on sending 4 SMS per hour, so that's around 2600+ SMS per month in the worst case scenario. With my current plan (Yoodo) it would cost RM100++ at 4 sen per SMS. Anything else cheaper?

price need to be to all network, not just same network

If you can do a project like IoT I think you can accommodate with rm100+ cost at the planning stage and leave this question for cost optimization phase after the project is up and running.

You cannot use ordinary SIM card to blast SMS like that, even though it is unlimited. You will be blacklisted immediately.

Subscribe to short code, or use short code provider.

4 SMS / hr is okay... if it's IoT usually it's code based SMS... should be fine...

whatsapp or whatever online messaging is cheaper if you can find the right internet plan, but at that point might as well just set up a small server service to accept POST request or something

whoops, nvm. Didn't read that you wanted fallback

as mentioned by TS, 4SMS / hr is fine... it's not consider as spamming. and also, it the content is "code based" i.e. alarm etc... it won't be blocked...
