guess you are one of those lucky ones to find what you want under their cancellation condition units.

how long has your monitor been serving you ?
past the maxed out 5 years warranty?

also about the warranty upgrades;
was it the same premium and pro support premium options?
similar to the ones available for the new ones?

i got mine last year, but I have instances where friends are still using theirs from 10 years ago (those square 17 inch ones, refurbished).

yes, i top up ProSupport for the warranty as well, as long no accidental damage i expect it to serve me for a long time.

I dont see a worry about it being refurbished since they are coming with warranty, anything wrong can claim back Dell as long you get direct from them.

If you want to buy refurbished, buy from official store. Chat with the Dell sales to find out on warranty. If you buy from shopee/lazada then it's a gamble as anything happen you may not be able to find back seller. If indeed 3 years warranty, to me it is a good deal. Even back in 2016 I bought a new monitor, also comes with 3 years warranty. Good enough for my old PC and it lasted until now.

buying a new one is easy.
wouldn't have to worry much since it's practically new anyways.

but buying a refurbished one is a gamble even if you buy it from the official store.
you wouldn't what it has been through before being refurbished.
wouldn't want to take this risk unless if I necessarily have to.
so yeah here i am gathering the relevant experiences / reviews with dell refurbished monitors before making the big decision.

Hi all, hows all your refurbished monitor holding? Still good?
Im planning to buy the S2721DGF from the outlet because the ori price was 2.1k and outlet selling 1.2k now.
I checked it covers 3 years warranty, but not sure it allow 0 dead pixels policy or not. Also the S series seems like all are refurbished ones, dont have customer cancels or really “new” ones…
So, should i go for it? If nope then ill probably go buy something from lazada during 9.9. What do u guys think?

Does anyone has experience with buying Dell Refurbished Monitors?

From their Official Outlet Store (online?)

or

From shopee/lazada/lelong/mudah/carousell/etc.
mind sharing your experience with the product over the duration of the usage?
any faults/defects/condition of the items bought?

they offer 3 years warranty now, what does that really cover as compared to the new ones?

My sibling bought a 19" Dell monitor 2 yrs ago, now still good to use. Conversely, I bought it (also Dell, different model) on Shxpxx, 3 months warranty but Grade A condition. Also a nice to have experiecne. This make me to buy more than 3 times with personal online seller instead of the official ones.

The only differences is the credibility . Purchasing products, elec devices especially, all are the same root - gamble....warranty doesn't meant to the condition, but the INSURANCE only.

I compared both warranty terms, all the same. Only if serious damage caused by the devices' condition, both will apply 1 by 1 exchange. If some particular damage caused by the devices' condition, personal seller usually will provide 1 to 1 exchange (if the product is a mid-low level model), while Dell will repair.

Depending on how you leverage the value, Dell sold thier warranty for RM100+ per year (depending on device type). Sometimes will provide door-to-door service (also depending on the device type) too, which is quite convenience compare to personal seller. Everything is written in the TnC. However, their pricing, in certain situation will let you able to buy 2 times from Personal Seller...
