Do you ever use any android phone with high refresh rate? If yes then you may feel a bit less smooth of go for normal 13. But if you haven't, then 13 screen won't let you feel slow. But then, even you used high refresh rate phone now, you will get used to 60hz pretty soon also. Unless, you own both 13 and high refresh rate android, then maybe hard to adapt..
High refresh rate didnt bother me tho.. Using 2 phone Mi10T Pro and Iphone 13.. eventho the Mi10T Pro have 144hz Refresh rate, when using IP13 doesnt affect me
Mum's 13 Mini arrived earlier today. A lot quicker than Apple's estimate.
When ordering they said 15th - 20th Oct. When shipped they said by 14th Oct. Arrived 13th Oct. That's 7 days quicker than the worst case scenario in their initial estimate. Bought the 256GB (Starlight) because Mum's b-day is on the 20th and all the 128GB models were stated as 20th - 25th delivery, but If I had known they under-promise delivery by so much, maybe I should've ordered the 128GB instead and it would have still arrived on time, and I'd save RM500. Guess I'll never know...
Meh, I suppose she will enjoy having additional space to store pics/vids of grandkids and all the useless "motivational" crap she gets from her WhatsApp contacts.
UPS tracking has been a bit off this past week. Package was supposedly sitting in Changi for 4 days, and then I checked in today morning and it said package was in Subang, but 1/2 hour later the lorry was outside my house in JB. Tracker still saying Subang at the moment. lol
Edit: Since it arrived early, I'm gonna try ordering a screen protector from the forum's recommended kambing, sakurazzz. Hopefully it will arrive before 20th, so I can bundle it together in Mum's present.

waa..this time around iphone 13 mini also out of stock..
This year stocks are pretty low on every model.. mostly only kept for early pre orders.. also first time they have no ready stocks for walk ins on launch day..

I remember the 12 and 12 Mini quite easy to get last year, except for maybe green and blue colours. Black and Product Red were like ready stock at most places. I walked into SenQ 1U to get my 128GB Product Red 12 just two or three weeks after the launch, no issues.

This year I think everyone play safe and order very limited units for every model, worry economy bad can’t sell off, mana tau sales still skyrocket even more than previous year

Ya, plus there’s a shortage of chips hence that could also affect the total of units available for each country. I’m on the fence about changing my wife’s 12 Pro Max for the 13 after she takes over my 13 Pro Max, hahaha.. we’ll see…

There's also the ongoing chip shortage. Want to make more also cannot. Apple's already been rumored to further cut iPhone production due to lack of chips. It's really bad. In some countries one year old used cars can be sold for new price (maybe higher) because dealerships can't get stock. It's even worse for certain industrial sectors.
Add to that the the affects of Covid lockdowns/restrictions on other parts of the supply chain. Assembly itself in China isn't really affected much now, but certain suppliers for components like gyro chips (Malaysia is also a supplier and our factories were operating at half capacity for months), micro ultrasonic motors for lens focusing, sensors for cameras, linear actuators for the taptic engine, special film used in LED production, etc all having supply issues. Apple's already a priority customer and if they got problems (I suspect the display issues with the new iPad Mini is a victim of some of these issues), one can only imagine how bad it is for the rest of the industry.

yeap agree its bad...but dont lose hope... coz anything can happen, 2 days back I went to switch paradigm to check out their ipad mini and kepoh ask for iphone 13... surprisingly they have 1 available iphone 13 pro 128gb blue in the store, during these times when everyone can't find anything at all, there comes 1 biji available somemore in PJ prime area...so yea, sometimes just need to make a trip to the outlets instead of checking stocks on website or call ups.. you might be surprised with the outcome.. go on weekdays though at least theres a little higher hope when everyone else's working
Hahahah. Myself too jumping from 11 Pro Max to 13. Cannot tahan la the large screen too bulky to carry around and heavy.
I thought once you go big you can't go back? Hahaha
I used the Plus size phones since the iPhone 6, but did try the smaller X and 12 - somehow still miss the larger screen and better battery life, of course!

I’m those who go big and can’t go back, having used max for few years, I can’t even go back to 5.8” now, not to mention mini size, especially the anxiety of having to check my batt % all the time will kill me slowly...but I think I can still accept 6.1”
