Yeah, got the notification from the bank app that it's been charged since last week. Was thinking I'd be able to get it early but probably no at this point.

Apple store super slow this year.. Not sure why but they are so much slower than AASP

I bought this from Lazada. So far, so good. The magnet is pretty strong, can hold up my 13 Pro Max in its bulky Gear4 case - but bear in mind my case also has the magnet so that helps. Charging is fairly standard, I don’t think it reaches 15W but I just tried it once to test, don’t really need to charge the phone when I’m driving coz the battery life is good enough to last me a day even with light Waze usage here and there.

I think eSIM is poorly implemented here in m'sia. eSIM need to transfer @ the telco centre.

I asked the same Q to Maxis, and getting mixed feedbacks. 1 fella say can transfer, 1 fella say need to go to centre.

Celcom stright up say cannot transfer. Need to visit blue cube. Went to blue cube today, and surprise surprise, cannot generate QR. Something system related. So need to visit again 2moro.



I'm not sure if any sifu here managed to transfer eSIM without going to telco centres.

in the app, they requested selfie and IC photo. once done the esim configuration sent to my email i just scan and done.

Maxis confirm need to request again. It’s in the FAQ. Maxis has very bad internal training and consistency.

I tend to switch devices depending on my situation ie travel etc. Since now I’m using eSIM on my mobile device, how do I switch to other devices?

For eSIM, any change in device will require a new QR code (SIM replacement treatment). In this case, you may use the dedicated nano-SIM slot available in your mobile device.

The installation looks a bit too scary for me because they cut the wrap directly on the phone which will likely cause scratches which you will only realize when the wrap is removed.

Sounds really scary if they cut the skin on the phone.. you probably won't find out though as you are likely to have the skin on for a long time..

So no eSIM for maxis. It’s a pain if u change device every year. I think the whole process is very painful. (for me at least)

do you guys have location and bluetooth on the whole time ? quite mafan cannot turn on and off those setting in control center
