Actually what can they do about the wind noise though?

Feedback after 2k km within 3 weeks:
1) No rattling sounds from the pillars or the door panels. Touch wood it won't happen any time soon. Was worried that it would happen after tinting.
2) Default tyre that came with the V spec is surprisingly good. Almost changed to Michelin when I took the car but lucky did not.
3) Wind noise is acceptable at high speeds. Have went till 180km/h but still quieter than my 19 year old Accord for sure.
4) Windscreen is very fragile and scratches easily. Not too sure if you guys realize this. My old car was a beast and did not have to change windscreen for 19 years. I commute on highway alot so that speaks volume. I have 3-4 chips on my windscreen now and 2-3 chips on my bumper within 3 weeks.
5) Suspension gets softer over time, kinda missed the stiffness when I first took the car.
6) Steering still nice and buttery smooth. Touch wood also.

Sekian, loving the thrill of driving it. Can't wait for my first drive to Genting.

Actually I was still driving the old Accord up until a month ago. It has always amazed me cause that windscreen has gotten whacked by alot of things including rocks the size of marble at high speed but with a small chip. The Civic got hit by smaller rocks also lubang d.........haih.....and so fast got micro scratches when using the wiper, already careful to let the rain wash the dust before using the wiper but still kena.

Did you install any DSP? Where did you install yours? Assume that you used a cable bracket to avoid cutting any cables just in case it voids warranty?

Nice. Am still contemplating of upgrading the speakers. I honestly can't hear anything from the centre speakers. Never knew there is one until they show the location of it. lol

The V spec has not centre speaker you mean? Okie. lol. Then don't have to install also. Am happy with the stereo setup. I saw the installation for the Centre speaker and it seems like need to remove alot of things. lol

Yeah, initially was wondering why do we need the centre speaker if we're not watching movie in the car. lol.

I'll look into changing the door panel ones. Those seem to be more straight forward swap. You changed yourself right?

Aight, thanks bro. I'll see if I wanna DIY or just get a reliable place to settle it. Won't be changing it for now since the ori sound is getting better by the days actually. Not sure why. lol

I saw the youtube link to DIY it and the A pillar there seems abit dangerous given the airbags and what not.

Yeah, I watched the DUD studio. The minute they install the middle speaker. I terus give up. lol. Saw alot of sellers on FB. Will prolly engage them eventually. Hopefully price comes down.

So I heard a tick when I was turning my steering just now. Hopefully this is not the start of the steering rack issue. lol

I hope it's just me being paranoid. It was just one tick sound then i tried turning left and right again but never hear anything.

There was a video on FB that showed prolong highway driving would drive the CVT to 140ish celcius in msia. Not sure how true is that but I reckon that Honda engineers have done stress test for certain amount of revs/temps/period that we don't need any custom cooling.

Anybody has any data from Lufi maybe on how high the temps can go during prolonged highway driving?

And 3 months after owning the car and 5.5k km later....finally the glass has a chip big enough to warrant a replacement. Their windscreen quality is really terrible.

Trying to see if I can fix it. Anybody has any recommendation in PG or PJ?

I read in a US forum somewhere that the Direct Injection the civic engine has the nozzle before the valve and it actually not like those VW DI engines so it actually does clean the valve head. There was a video somewhere demonstrated by a honda engineer too.

Almost 2 years driving the FE. no issues and only time masuk kilang is for preventive maintenance and that one time steering pump grease thingy.

Think the whole steering rack thing is overblown. Don't think people need to sacrifice that many days of leave just to leave the car there.

Oh yeah, I kena the A pillar tik tik sound when driving over at the passenger side. Seems common ?
