You can break the Fin too if you hit around the belly area but most of the time I overkill it...... =="

You mean carve it while his faking death? Every time he starts faking, just faster run beside his body before he fell down, after his fully down, you can carve 3 times but chances are you'll get hit after the second or third carve when he wakes up so don't get greedy lol.

When you're doing Dual Gypceros, a good way to know are they faking deaths is to try and see if you can run through them while they are doing their death animation (when they are falling to the ground etc). If you can run through their body, it's death. If you can't, well, START giving mouth to mouth cause that cute little turkey is still alive! lol =D

There's this "WTF" Gypceros moment when I was playing with my friend way back. We were hunting for Gypceros head so we keep on doing the Dual G Rank Gypceros. We're fighting the Purple Gypceros first, the whole process was so fast and the Gypy starts doing his death. We thought he was faking death so we faster position ourself right next to it's body to carve some extra stuff....

Umm or........

You could just bring 20 poison bombs (10 from combining) and poison those insects. =\

Gather all of them in 1 area and throw the bomb then start carving off death insects. Saves you a lot of time and energy. =X

Only weapons that won't bounce from the body is Hammer & SnS. If you don't have neither, then either try to hit the head (other weapons won't bounce from there) or get ESP skill. ^^,

First go carry the egg, then just drop it straight away. The monster in different areas should change by now. Go and clear the monsters on the route you're gonna take later. You can kill the wyvern too if you wish, it's optional. After you've confirm all areas are clear, go and take the egg again and happily run back to your camp.

Yeah, you should play MHF 2 really, much more contents.

Anyway, I'm guessing the wyvern is Rathalos. Yeah, it will get the job done if you know what you're doing but it's not necessary really, if Rathalos is in the area then just go to another area with the egg and wait till he leaves. It's not really that long. Just give him a min or two.

You can get Inferno sac from G Rank fire breathing wyverns.

What weapon you're using first? Different weapons have different approach.

G Rank Forest & Hill area 1 and 12. G Rank Volcano area 2.

You can carve it from a Vespoid, try killing those Vespoid without shattering their body. You can use poison bombs or a weapon with poison element. You can get it from the rewards too if I'm not mistaken if you do those quest where you have to kill 20 or 40 Vespoid.

It's not that useful if you're using alone imo but if you're with a couple of friends then yeah it's pretty good cause after you've stun the monster, your other friends can keep smacking/slashing/touching.....the monster.

Not one for me hehe ^^p. I have a Fire element DS, GS, Hammer, Hunting Horn. Thunder element Tachi, GS. Dragon element DS,GS,Hammer,Gunlance, SnS etc. High Raw Damage GS, Hammer etc and so on . Basically I'll take anything I like and use anything I feel like using.

Yeah...if you take a look at my storage.....you can find a lot of weapons of mass destruction.....

Anyway, did you clear G-Rank Quest 6-7 stars?

Sonic bombs and frogs to fish it up. You'll damage it a little if you fish it up with frogs. After it's up, go for the legs and belly after his done shooting his water preasure, don't get greedy though, when his about to do his side knock, start moving. If you're using a weapon with block feature then you can just block it. Fire & Thunder element weapon works well against him, If his fin is down then that indicates his not too far from being Sushi food.

If you're using range, then just shoot the crap out of him.
