Doing the training quest yourself will make you a more skillful hunter. For HH, always or try and hit the head as much as possible to KO him, when his down, make sure to only keep using the left,right swing then end the combo with a super pound when his about to or getting up. Remember to play some notes first before you head in to boost your ability.

If you're new to that specific weapon class, try and buy a cheap one or a decent one if you can afford it and take it out for a spin. Get the feel of it first, test it on medium sized monsters like Yian Kut Ku till you're ready to take on the big boys. There's even a weapons training quest for you to learn the basic stuff first. Every weapons have their Pros and Cons, you just got to mastered them and make the best of it.

The iron path first. The materials are not too troublesome to get so it could give you a good starting weapon. Upgrade it till you can get Devil Slicer. An all round Tachi that can almost handle any situation.

Try completing one of the Basic Training quest, then leave and talk to the Village Elder. After that the solo training will be available for you but you have to kill specific monster for the first time for it to appear in the solo training.

That's why I said go for the head lol.

Basically any monster that is weak on the head, try going for it. If you can't or don't have enough time to reach the head (getting block by obstacles etc etc) then go for their second weakest area or you can trip them and go for the head next. Whatever way that works for you.

Does your armor have -Dragon lol?

Just got to watch out for his foot and his tail when his in rage mode if your armor has a high -Dragon. That's about it.

Kut Ku armor can last you for quite a while too for starters.

Level 3* Quests
05 - 10 Blangos (Blango Slaying Tactics)
10 - Daimyo Hermitaur (The Lurking Desert Giant)
13 - Gypceros (Venomous Terror)
18 - 10 Special Mushrooms (A Killing from Mushrooms)
Urgent quest: Blangonga (The Ruler of the Snow)

After that, the Volcano Map should be available to you.

Keep doing Jungle runs and mine the farm's mining point from time to time, you'll get them eventually.

Yian Kut Ku training quest. You'll get them in the reward.

Earns you the Legend Badge.

If you're having trouble killing him, use the aliment meats (Stun,Poison & Sleep meat) to aid you to your advantage. In the middle of the fight, just put one of those meat on the ground and he'll run over to eat it. Doesn't matter if he sees you or not, he'll just run over to it. If you're using LS, then you better off using the Stun or Poison meat sees that you can't inflict a high damage attack on the first hit when he sleeps unlike GS or Hammer.

Oh and you can use either a WiFi Max or a Planex USB, both of them works but recommend you get a Planex version sees that it's cheaper.

When he stops after a charge, start smacking his butt. Don't stay directly in front of him, always stay on his side and you should be fine.

4 Star Urgent Elder and Gathering Hall Quest.

I'll retire from MHF2 the day I have my hands on MH3. Just like I retire from MH2 the day I got MHF2 loL.

Of course, then there's the Wii part.... hope in the end they will still include it for the PS3 or I have to forced my friend to buy a Wii then I'll just take it from him lol.

Butt and his sides. Try not to attack upfront or he'll send you flying but since you're using Gunlance, you can attack him after you've block his charge.

He'll stopped for a while after every charge so use this time to poke his ass.

It's a Monster Hunter tread so I don't see why not really lol.

lol Of course your stamina will decrease when you block but it's not like it will be completely gone lol. It will charge back when you released the block button, won't make a difference. In the beginning that is.

And what egg? There's no egg carrying quest in this game? You might want to recheck that quest. First quest in Gathering Hall is "Hunt the Giadrome".
