for melee class in my opinion rathian is slightly more dangerous coz she has the summersault tail flip thingy which makes u faint. rathalos also makes ppl faint by that floating air claw thingy but its rare to get hit by that move.

also that tail flip move is kinda buffed in mhf2 coz now she can adjust the angle of the flip slightly to the sides at last minute, last time in mhf1 that move is fixed directly ahead.

Hey was wondering if anyone could tell me what does destroying rocks do? other than letting it blow up in your face
if you would read in the above guide, the author constantly mentions about destroying rocks but did not state what it is for ...

Will be trying out rathian tomorrow if I have the time ( or after getting bored of revision)

rocks will blocking your way to certain area, while the certain area contain treasures
so the best is blow it up

pink rathians back flip in rage mode is very DEADLY. 1 hit ko'd me

use what to blow?

or weapon hit will break it aswell, ESP will do a good job here

hey guys, for a blademaster, which armor is good?
im kinda stuck between garuga and tigrex...

tigrex offers speed eating and can add jewels to make it autotrack
but earplug is only for lower grades.

garuga offers earplug and can add to high grade earplug and 10% affinity.

i like to be immune to screams yet track and speed eating is a good plus

edited: oh and now im using a garuga mask + full set tigrex. if i up 2 hearprotect id be left with 1 slot and -12 protect (getting demonic protection)
argh. and where do i get mosswine hide? killed 20 of them all gives me raw meat blue mushs special mushs and raw meat

If u use fullset Tigrex S armor.. just need to add some decorations.
U'll get :-
Autotracker (Add 3 Psychic Jewel)
Speed Eating
Highgrade Earplug (Add 5 Earplug Jewel)
Demonic Protection (that's the downside when add the earplug jewel)

Island of the Gods doesn't have any slots unfortunately..


I would recommend going for Tigrex set as I went throughout the game using Tigrex sets.. Quick Eating + Autotracker helps more than earplugs..

are the skills added different from normal tigrex?
im using a garuga mask which adds 6 earplug.
now im psychic 16, eharprotect 13, cooking 8, protect -9

and gravious scream needs earplug to be highest grade to be able to block it.
so its essential, but the other 2 skills are too tempting. if only 1 then i'll go for earplug any day
