QUOTE(Jedi @ Aug 25 2021, 02:19 PM) Very confusing statements from ppl Sky activ high compression. Need 97. Many pump ron 95 say no difference esp now euro4. But also some says min 97 some even go ron 100 otherwise sluggish and later engine cepat rosak (lol) Mazda skyactiv owners experiment before? City driving ron95 is good enough.. if you have deep pocket, may go for Ron97 or ron100 for minimum performance gain. Other countries ppl only pump ron85

Personally recommending Petronas Ron95 and Ron97.
Tried Petron Ron95, noticeable engine knocking louder.

QUOTE(Mr Mercedes @ Aug 25 2021, 02:27 PM) Ron 95 would suffice. But 97 is better for long term engine health You won’t get any difference in terms of engine’s health by using 95 or 97, performance wise and efficiency? Yeap, but a minor one. For a longer and healthier engine, service your car regularly.

I have 2 friends who use only she'll vpower.. both have fuel pump issue. Claim warranty twice but still need to go for recall for the 3rd replacement.. haven't talk to them since MCO started if they still get fuel pump failure..

my personal comment.. there will be always two sides of coin..
try to pump a full tank of Ron97 and try it urself.. notice on the performance and noise of the engine. If you dont feel anything then dont bother pay extra..
but technically, RON95 can be used.

Is it still happening after the Mazda recall program? I never use V-power before, the most I use is Shell Ron97. But I heard many saying Shell petrol is clogging the fuel pump in the FB group.
