i purchased from ali express 2.5 weeks ago and havent arrived yet. Tracking yes, it has been released by msian custom 3 days ago.. Even item already inside malaysia, it's like the shipping is still not moving..

i used ali express coz it is not sold in lazada/shopee .. So, no choice.

If you can read Chinese, tmall. If not nothing much you can do but find in shopee..

Aliexpress is cheap? Its one of the more expensive platforms to shop from. Their target is angmoh, with angmoh pricing. Their free shipping to MY takes about 4-6 weeks
Even Taobao is not cheap. With added shipping it is expensive.
Cheapest, if you can find the same items, is Shopee. Fastest, Cheapest and Free Shipping

my last purchase from there during pandemic period was dec 2020 and mar 2021. shipping time is ok. got my items in 3 weeks. more reliable than shopee.

The thing is, this seller was on shopee and lazada but he deleted them because the freight for him to ship to warehouse is very high it seems. So he ask me to buy directly from aliexpress. So instead of using their choice of shipping, is there any other forwarders thats fast like shopee and cheap also? Thats my question

Actually if u know the seller and deal with him, can negotiate via PM, he can give a far cheaper price. U need to talk to them in PM

u can ask them to send to forwarding agent
faster but transport u bear transport + duty and other tax if applicable

via air of course highest fare being the fastest

via sea depends too, especially if they put LCL (combined shipment with others) and which port embark

Few years ago used to buy a lot from Aliexpress. Then I discovered that the items are the same in Taobao and the price in Aliexpress is 3-4 times higher.

I am non chinese, i use google translate all the way to buy from Taobao lol. The only thing is need to in bulk for taobao (to save on shipping), whereas for Aliexpress can just buy one single item (because free shipping).

From what i observed, people who use 3rd party forwarder will definitely buy same item from Taobao.. 😄
