No brainer for all Apple users - why pay extra when you can get all in one package for RM19.90?

Personally I need to increase the iCloud storage because my current is 200GB - but heck Apple Music may not have the best playlist / song choices but in a long run, its a darn good deal.

Another plus of using Apple Music is the ability to stream your songs from your Apple Watch LTE directly, unlike Spotify.

From the apple website, it shows the files and documents of each user will remain private.

what if i’ve already subscribed apple tv and icloud separately? how does it work if i subscribe to this apple one plan? will it affect what i’m having now? or they will just bundle it all up?

as announced it will be 30 days free trial and then you start to pay after 30 days so eventually for any services you subscribe now will discontinue the individual service renewal

I believe any of your current service subscription inside Apple One bundles will stop renewing when you subscribe to Apple One (which gives you free trial 30 days)

I take example for my case currently with Apple Music RM14.90 + iCloud 50GB RM3.90,
my iCloud 50Gb renew on 28th monthly, Apple Music on 2nd monthly, if I subscribe to Apple one (I get free trials of 30days) on 5th of that calendar month, let say 5th Nov, my iCloud wont renew on 28th Nov, my Apple Music wont renew on 2nd Dec.... and my Apple One 30 days free trial ends on 4th Dec will be renew and require to pay

just my two cents only... have to wait when Apple release later if it does happen something like above, we as users does not lose anything... the 30days free trial will become a period of transition...

Yeah, that's one of the reasons why I believe it's a mistake for the likes of Samsung and Huawei to go after iPhones in their product launches - it's a different ballgame altogether. Sure, your camera might be superior when it comes to night shots, you have higher screen refresh rate and bigger batteries, but to Apple users invested in the Apple ecosystem, there's just very little to persuade them to change.

And now with Apple One, coupled with cheaper alternatives like iPhone SE and Watch SE, that's gonna be harder still!

the iCloud storage can additional subscribe... on top of Apple One bundle 50GB
basically it means if you have Apple Music, Apple TV, Apple Arcade subscribed previously, all will become bundle automatically after you subscribed to Apple One, but for iCloud storage, if you have 50GB previously, you might need downgrade, otherwise you will end up having 50GB(bundle) + 50GB (RM3.90)

yes, but the 200GB in family plan storage will be utilize by all "family" members you add
just that none of the "family" members can access each other files in iCloud unless you explicitly share
e.g.: 200GB with 4 "family" members, if one member occupied 80GB, one member occupied 70GB, one member occupied 40GB, the remaining GB.... last member only have lol

so from 25th Oct to 24 Nov your apple music which you already paid you continue using, from 25 Nov to 29th Nov your apple music is trial and then 30th Nov apple one renew you pay

basically the trial is just to offset those services inside bundle of apple one that we already subscribed on different date

you paid RM33.90 -10% for Apple One? mine first month is trial, probably thats the reason why you get refund, my Apple One trial is from 30 Oct to 30 Nov, will only start paying RM19.90 (individual plan) on 30th Nov

so in your case and my case is actually similar, I get free trial, but my Apple Music RM14.90 forfeited...
you pay RM33.90 (-10%), you get refunded

i use tng ewallet to bind in my Apple ID, got once I trigger refund due to the in app purchase failed but is charged to my tng ewallet, it immediately refunded the RM1.90 to my ewallet

I was using apple music and i have subscribed Apple one yesterday, will i get any refund as well? My billing date for Apple music is on 29th though.

for me i used US ac to dload on-demand US channel apps like HBO ...bigger content compared to asia

Currently subscribed to iCloud 50gb. Then trying the One 19.90 plan. Now total storage is 100Gb. But the iCloud will be renewed on 17th Nov whereas One will renew on 30th Nov. Will it auto change to One after that with new 50Gb storage space? Will I be refunded for the normal iCloud plan? Or I need to downgrade now to the free plan?

you have to downgrade your iCloud 50GB to none if you only need 50GB when you sign up Apple One
the reason is Apple One Individual bundled with 50GB, on top of this you can freely sign up additional 50GB(RM3.90) or 200GB(RM11.90) or 2TB(RM39.90), making total 100GB/250GB/2.05TB
unlike bundles inside Apple One where Apple Music, Apple Arcade and Apple TV+ is only ONE to subscribed

if you choose not to downgrade your existing 50GB to none, what you actually paying after Apple One trial is RM19.90 (individual) + iCloud 50GB (RM3.90), thus, it makes your iCloud to 100GB in total

if you choose to downgrade your iCloud 50GB will last until 17th Nov.... will grant you having 100GB until 17th Nov after that will back to 50GB (which comes with Apple One)

Didn’t work. I even restored my iPhone. Still didn’t work. Used the link one.Apple.com and all I get is a Cannot Connect - Retry button but nothing happens.

Apple Support tried twice to help me but cannot figure out what happened. Submitted my problems to Hq and will await updates in the next 48 hours.

It is odd that the only way to subscribe is by using iPhone or iPad.

I just signed up Apple One. I think it's worth it as I'm already paying for Apple Music for RM14.90. Add RM5 get 3 more services including 50GB icloud. Wow I'm so happy with the service.

that's why apple one is so nice, TV+ is a bonus feature there, yet still get 50GB icloud, arcade and music too

I've noticed apple music sound music is miles better now. Previously apple music sound quality is the worst. In terms of sound quality: Tidal normal & Hifi > Spotify > Apple Music. Now it is Tidal normal & hifi > Apple Music > Spotify. It is closer to Tidal than Spotify. And the library is huge now. But people still prefers spotify and tidal cos of "shopee"
