Just go jpj counters to renew from 10aug onwatds. There they can scan from your ic photo

I think pos no longer print extension laminated kad like previously

Last time I renewed,, JPJ staff said give photo if want to change photo otherwise, use the old photo. I just used the old one

I had same problem few months ago. So the reason why you cannot renew via Mysikap online (if you get the no photo message) is because they were using the old system where need a new picture for just the driving license.

The new system is getting the picture from your IC and not a separate picture anymore.

The only way to solve this is by getting an appointment with JPJ to do the renewal. They will use the image from your Ic and your current driving license card will be changed to new one with same picture from IC.

Yes I know that's why I already said in the 1st paragraph at the website all post office that I click on says no availability for the whole of August...

The problem the nearest jpj office is almost 30km away from my house.

Retrieving IC photo from JPN database to use for road tax isn't exactly a new system, at least not something that started few months ago. I remember this was done at post office too when I renewed it 4 years ago. No hassle and I wasn't required to visit jpj even though it was the first time the photo was retrieved this way.

i recommend to use carver. you pay extra RM40 to deliver to doorstep.

maybe they notice ur photo is young but u already old so they ask make new photo

I read in one thread here yes road tax they deliver to your house but driving licence need to go and collect yourself from jpj office, is this true?

I renew back in May (just before the MCO) at JPJ, they did not allow taking photograph, they reuse old photo
