I was visiting my client in Menara IGB then we went to Gardens to grab a bite. Inside, the 5G network wasn't that good. shakehead.gif

Maxis/ Hotlink 5G really bad launch =.=

Keep fluctuate between 4G & 5G even i'm outdoor

Change to my Digi or Yes instant locked 5G

Arent they using same tower ?

If your 5G signal is 3-4 out of 4 mostly, should be no issue.
Outdoor 5G signal also should be more stable.

Your incident is a bit weird.

Yea, i'm using multi sim right now which are Hotlink Postpaid, Yes 4G, Digi

Only Hotlink gives me this issue while testing.

It's iphone 14 Pro and i also tested both 5G Auto and 5G On, same result.

With this fluctuate between 4G & 5G, the battery consumption also increase, lolz ...

Can other people also confirm this? I think maxis and DNB network not optimised for iphones. Iphone not really configured properly for maxis. For older iphone like iphone 11 it even have trouble connecting to 4g and drop to 2g cause it dont have 5g.

Any iphone 11 with latest ios 16.6 have issue with 4g with maxis latetly? Last month suddenly have issue could be maxis already start using DNB network causing issue with connection. Everytime drop from 4g to 2g or no data at all even connected.

iPhone 11 has problems keeping 4G connection on Maxis.
On iPhone 13, I can get 3 bars, but iPhone 11 may be 1 bar or no service.

I think the supported bands on iPhone 11 is one issue. The other is that it uses an Intel Modem.

What about other telco with iphone 11?
Iphone 11 also doesn't support 5G.

it's not particularly on iPhone, my Android same...

put in pocket and take out , full bar of E, no data at all

have to wait 10s++ or on off airplane mode to back to 4G
