TQ

Wait for tomorrow...
Probably

2) plan upgrade
3) free quota

Subline is not free right? Have to pay?
Remember to add Rm10 5G passes for the new package
*
Subline free. You need upgrade primary with 5G package (+RM11). Then all subline will get 5G already. Maintain rm48 for subline.

I'm on subline..

Maxis 5G still favors 4G instead 5G even 5G network strong. For UMobile is okay...

If you're on iPhone, make sure to select "5G On" in Mobile Data settings if you want to use 5G over 4G all the time. By default it's on "5G Auto", where iOS will prefer use to 4G if 5G signal is weaker than 4G.

Yes. It always on. Since I'm using Umobile 5G. No issue with UMobile. Except 5G on Maxis. I'm on dual sim iphone.

I've talked with their chat support team Norazmi, I have been told sublines will be given 5G access as well but at the moment it's not roll out yet and no timeframe has been given.

*I'm on Business Postpaid 139.
*
For personal line yes. On business not sure.
I just upgraded primary line with new 5G plan (additional rm11). Then all subline with 5G access. So you can confirm via maxis app

during first launch, i'm faced similar issue. signal unable to lock at 5G even at 5G coverage.

After reported to Maxis, issue solved. Now steadily connected to 5G network.

Speed wise is better especially when you're watching Netflix or youtube high defination.
