QUOTE(XeactorZ @ Oct 3 2024, 11:57 AM) but the 5g speed seems like 100mbps only I don't think they are enforcing it yet. This is Celcomdigi kuning RM25 on Pixel 7. If Hotlink prepaid supports eSIM, I would have been on Hotlink. My phone only has eSIM + a physical SIM slot and I travel a lot. From my testing, both are very similar in terms of coverage and speed

Anyone here has used Hotlink roaming in Thailand?
In particular The RM 45 plan for 40GB (Internet quota can be used in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand)
How is the speed and coverage? Do you know which telco provider in Thailand are they using for the roaming services?

QUOTE(westlife @ Jan 27 2025, 01:43 AM) am at Bangkok. Upon arrival of dmk airport, already connected to true—H network, most of the time 5G. Connection wise is ok. Hotel is having free wifi so usage is mainly outdoor. You subscribed the RM 45 for 40 GB one and gets 5G in Thailand? That's amazing. On the package plan, it doesn't say 5G. Did you also get 5G in Malaysia with that plan? I am going to Thailand this Wednesday, was thinking whether get the RM 45 or RM 60 one (this has 5g) This post has been edited by azrash: Jan 27 2025, 03:17 PM

QUOTE(westlife @ Jan 27 2025, 05:49 PM) yes, rm45 for 40gb plan I get free data roaming in Thailand. And I get 5G access too. Even back in bolehland, this plan has free 5G access. Tested and confirmed. Great, thanks for sharing. I couldn't purchase the eSIM for some reasons, it couldn't go through beyond the registration phase on my pixel 7 android 15. Got myself a SIM from a convenience store instead. Enjoy your trip

QUOTE(ws0125 @ Feb 24 2025, 09:23 AM) Any sifusifu facing problem don't have connection in SG with Hotlink Prepaid? Ada solving method? Bolehland no problem at all but once ayam step foot on SG soil, instantly no connection. Want receive SMS OTP also kennot. Ayam very frustrating. I just got back from SG and everything works fine, including 5G. I am on the RM 45 monthly plan that has roaming to SG. I would suggest restarting the phone, and ensure that the 'automatically select network' in settings is enabled. If that doesn't work, contact Hotlink CS
