Hey guys, Im currently using Hotlink Postpaid 40 and planning to switch to Hotlink prepaid to save cost. I see online there is the RM25 monthly, for 20GB and unlimited call. Is this prepaid plan alright? I can't find any options for longer validity or any data carry over options. It's great if I can just buy and reload only when I run out of data to use.

How to view all these plans? I don't see it on their website. My hotlink app is under postpaid, so I can't see any of the prepaid stuff.

Validation and data plan is not the same right? E.g. topup RM10 for 30 days validity, but not for data, if want data need topup more to buy data?

Is there a combo you guys do that maximises the data? E.g. buy 365 for RM30, then buy only RM10 for 5GB, and only reload when you run out?

Let's say I buy 365days for RM30. That means I have RM30 worth of credit to use for calls or sms, which will last until a year right? Or is the RM30 used to only purchase the 365days validity of the line, if I want to make calls/sms I need to topup further?

For the data plan, let's say I buy for one month and I didn't finish the data, does it carry over to the next month If I buy more data? Or will it expire completely as the month ends?

Also are you guys able to reload and buy prepaid plans using AMEX?

Also, just to be sure. I can expect Hotlink Prepaid to have the same coverage and speed as Hotlink Postpaid right? Which is also the same as Maxis itself I reckon.

I noticed there's these passes that give 5G access but didn't mention 4G at all. There is RM5 for 10GB data that I see, for 30 days. If I don't have 5G coverage, will it default to 4G?

I'm on Prepaid 1.0 now, need RM2 to shift to Pantas. But it seems Pantas's only advantage is it offers 365 plans?

Damn then it's a no go for me LOL, 5G coverage still not wide yet. There is also another one under Hotlink MU that is RM20 for 20GB of 5G Access, Im guessing that is also the same with the RM5 for 10 GB...

Then the next best option is the RM25, 20GB + Unlimited Call for one month. (I also notice this plan is in Prepaid 1.0, but I don't think its the same as the one in Prepaid Pantas, which is RM25, 15GB + Unlimted Calls for one month) Edit: Yeah based on FAQ, they are not the same.

So alteast RM10 top up for 30 days validity is for Hotlink Pantas, what about the Prepaid 1.0? Couldn't find the answer in FAQ. Edit: Contacted Maxis, its RM30 for 30 days validity under Hotlink Prepaid 1.0. Looks like Hotlink Pantas is the way then haha.

Yeah, that would be great. I stuck with Hotlink as my whole family uses Maxis, and their coverage/speed has never failed us. Tried UMobile before and it gave me cancer, ported back within a month lmao. Saw others like YES but people mentioned their coverage is somewhat bad. Yoodo apparently is not as prioritised as their Celcom line, unlike Hotlink where it's the same as Maxis mainline. Maybe I'll try others in the future, sticking with Hotlink for now.

Damn, now you guys mentioned it, I think I remember this from Hotlink as they had this ages ago too LMAO. It was good back then, until internet took over everything.

Btw, is there a way to reload Hotlink Pantas with AMEX? I used to pay my Hotlink Postpaid with AMEX.

I actually thought about this too for Prepaid 1.0, however if you want to just reload and spend less than RM30 per month, Pantas is the option to go. Cheaper internet plan and perhaps better vouchers too on Prepaid 1.0, but you will always need to reload RM30 per month for validity no matter what.

Actually how is Umobile now? Especially in terms of coverage and speed. It was horrendous when I tried it years ago, not sure now.

Hey guys, If I reload Hotlink Pantas with RM10 or above through Shopee, will it still provide me with 30 days validity just the same as reloading in the Hotlink app itself right?

Is the 5G 30 day free pass meant to be renewable all the time? It says one time pass but when mine expired, I was able to renew again lol.
