There is a new Hotlink Plan. Not much information available yet. Hotlink website also yet to reflect this product.

FUP of 50GB only for old Hotlink Unlimited monthly passes. So no, it’s different as new Hotlink Prepaid Plan FUP is either 80GB or 100GB for the monthly passes.

I was in Singapore early this month and connected to Singtel. Stayed in Orchard Road and was not connected to Singtel 5G, not even once.

In Singapore, 5G has its own plan just like Taiwan and normally sold as 4G/5G plan whereas the masses are still only on 4G only plan.

Anyway, as mentioned I was not able to connect to Singtel 5G using my Hotlink 40GB MY, SG, TH, ID pass. I’m using iPhone 13 Pro Max and have used DNB 5G extensively via Digi Postpaid the last few months.

Your observation is spot on. 5G on Digi is fairly stable and hardly switches to 4G in areas where 5G is available and signal isn't weak. 5G on Maxis currently is still not stable and keep switching back and forth between 4G and 5G even in areas where 5G signal is strong. I suppose there is still some teething problem on Maxis' side. So give them a few months to see if it improves.

Don’t think so as Digi 4G signal is strong at my place. Maxis is equally strong but it keeps switching between 4G and 5G. I noticed this inside Mid-Valley too. So I believe it’s Maxis still having teething issue with 5G because after all, Digi switches on 5G for many months already.
