Guys if buy hotlinkmu data is it only 4g and no 5g? after getting this cant get 5g it seems

I changed to eSIM in Maxis Mid Valley. At first the counter lady was hesitant and told me it's only for new registration. I told her try with the activation kit, if cannot then I'll just walk off. Then she tried and voila, it works.
