I also curious about this, as my mom currently using EXTRA plan that can buy 365 days validity because she just needs to keep the number active, no need call or any data as only use home WiFi, so reload every month is like wasting money. As the SMS said "Current plan benefits will expire post-upgrade", then the validity until next year July will burn too?Received above SMS.

So the validity seems will keep... But still the most important question, after that need to pay every month, which not really suits to the really light user that only use WiFi and just need the number for using WhatsApp
