Hi all,

Looking for laptop:

1. Budget : below 3k (willing to hit 3.5k if really bang for buck)
2. Usage : non/rarely-game, excel/word, youtube, netflix, chrome, teams.
3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) : below 14 inch, lightweight for female user

Currently filtered to these 2, but please recommend me if there are other good ones:

1. Budget : max 3.5k
2. Usage : Office work, light gaming
3. Requirements
- good battery life
- decent gaming capabilities
- does not overheat
- screen not important as using external monitor (must have HDMI port)
- keyboard not important, using external
- i5 or Ryzen equivalent
- display size: 14in and above
- no brand preference, do not mind older models from previous years\
- weight not important

Question: should i wait for the Intel Lunar Lake release? My current laptop is on life support now, but if it is significantly better, i might wait.

The GPU is more important than the CPU for a gaming laptop. While the i7-12650H is not very new but its performance is adequate.

i thought better cpu can improve performance for games which require a lot Ai processing.

Game performance is highly depend on GPU, graphic processing.

you buy a powerful CPU pair with RTX4050, cant even fight with lower grade CPU with RTX 4060
