the soaking of bumps and humps will get better as the mountings/bushing 'masak' over time. seems like running in for this car does not limit to engine alone but span to brakes also. power window need running in or not? hahaha..
on the black persona menacing look, i agree with you.. look fast even at still. the closest thing to a black 407 or black 8th gen civic. muahaha.. soak it up jangan tak soak it up!

here we go again, fuel consumption talk
the fc meter is good as guidelines but it not accurate as it average out every 500m and need to reset few times.

my findings, for auto,

city driving with idling while waiting
fc meter shows 10-11litre/100km
own calculation, 40-45km every rm10

highways only
fc meter shows 6.5-7.4litre/100km
own calculation, 50-55km every rm10

its a guzzler at city due to weight, worse if wait in car idling coz higher rpm. leave at N its 980rpm, engage D, its 850rpm. plus, dohc engine idle higher compared to manual sohc mitsu waja idle at 650rpm.

ultima, mine is 15'. but i always tempted to opt for 16'.
to me downside to 16' as everybody know is
- tyre much more expensive,
- low profile means harder on bumps
- somehow the tyre worn faster
- everything else worn faster
- need to recalibrate meter
but if you already like, anything also can, no want can stop you.

get those deep sport rims la..put wider tyre

VIP look seems to be the 'IN' thing nowdays..
big2 rims, low, low profile, lowered, dark tinted.
thse VIP look requires VIP pocket to maintain. highly reserve for anak dato and anak mafia. if you cant afford it, dont bring trouble to yourself. or your parents.

hahaha.. im also having problem finding offset spec lastime. everybody said differently even proton website.
i guess the correct way is to measure yourself at kedai tayar..
195/50/15
195mm is width of tayar thread surface - the surface that touch the road.
60percent is ratio of tyre height to width. aka 'profile'. the lower, the thinner.
15inch is rim diameter lah..
offset is jarak dari tengah rim to lubang rim untuk screw nut. deep dish rim have negative offset. maknanya tempat nak screw nut jauh kedalam.
measure your metal rims la get the correct offset. offset ada limit kalau tak, bawak nanti belok feels funny coz turning radius lari, but some people just live with it.

Added on November 13, 2007, 12:06 pmpersona offset, some say 60, some say 65.. in mm i suppose.

ok, just confirm gen2 offset is 46.. is it the same as persona? i dont know ..should be right?
persona tyre profile is 60, gen2 is 55.
the 60 and 65 i believe is gathered from 6.5jj, 6.0jj
