huhuhu.... persona auto can rev up easily up to 6.5k before shifting gear. so nice.
redlined my persona a few times already. fuel consumption is improving. it's now at 13.8l/100km for 120km mileage the aircond is only noisy when u turn it on. for me, it's quiet while driving or idling. Added on October 4, 2007, 5:24 pm QUOTE(badrul_rg @ Oct 4 2007, 11:06 AM) just now im call i-care. wah...so lousy? my car register is so quick.cannot get my car by this weeks. QUOTE(Ultima @ Oct 5 2007, 03:21 PM) so izzit good if i change to bigger rims? rite now its 15 rite, 16 or 17 can fit? it's not about good or bad, it's more like personal preference...quite subjective. some ppl like bigger rims, some ppl like smaller rims. |

QUOTE(ralf @ Oct 8 2007, 03:27 PM) Honestly speaking, the brake is abit soft for rear drum set up, such as heavy car should equip with rear disc.. the soft brake is not because of the rear drum, because the rear brakes are only contributing to less than 20% of the whole braking power and also for parking brake. it could be the front brake pads still not makan yet. |

QUOTE(dzariq @ Oct 11 2007, 06:51 PM) yeap..same here..nothing much to worry about i guess...we'll see after the first service... I redline it the next day after I pick the car today i pushed the rev a bit more..hehe...already doing 700km...so i guess its safe to just push it a lil sometimes...not yet floor ofcoz...just RPM 4 or so..put in 3rd gear...man its nice...i dun get it why ppl say campro is weak...i think its a powerful engine...a decent engine... But i pulled until 7k rpm only, afraid that the valvetrain couldn't stand higher rpm operation. |

QUOTE(dzariq @ Oct 12 2007, 02:45 AM) at the momment mine reading 10.4L per 100km...after 760kms....still havent redline my car..only went up to 4.5 RPM just now.... The spring is soft. If you intend to load the car heavily, suspension upgrade should solve the problem. I believe Persona is tuned for balance between comfort and handling, so it still have the soft rear suspension setup at the back.a small prob...i took my frens out...5 of us in the car....3 at the back...all "heavy weight"...the tyre hits the fender at every bumpy road and some corners...not sure this happens becoz of i change to a 205/55/16 spec tyres...must be tho.....but 1 thing i notice tonight...the rear suspension is very soft... my advice?...this is not a car for 5 ppl to sit in...esp big "sihat" size ppl....try it out...u can see how low the rear gets when u fit in 3 ppl at the back...it goes so low to the tyres... anyway...besides the slight rattling...does anyone seem to hear like a knocking sound on the right side when goin on bumpy roads?....something like a loose plastic/component on the right side dats making the noise... need some response as im getting near the 1k service....plan to do it next tues.... |

Can use Gen2 aftermarket springs/absorbers. The spec should be similar.
