There is no way to know if the battery is ori or fake
Similarly, at the repair shop, there is no way to know as well. Unless go to official Samsung

If you intend to use the phone for another 1 year or more, better do at Samsung official.
If just want to play, can buy battery and diy

I have changed battery for a few xiaomis, all easy peasy with third party battery. Cost rm30 to 50. But all claimed original battery are not ori.
Huawei official is rm99 so no point diy

Samsung haven't try but that day will come soon.

Better Samsung. I just redid mine for RM291.40 (Kuching, Sarawak)

Because a month ago I went to third party for RM100. End up they used some electronic glue to glue the back and it kept coming off. I went back to them 3x and same issue the back kept coming off over time.

Samsung mentioned that there is a special adhesive sticker they use to ensure it is water resistant again after replacement. I know you can DIY if you buy it from shopee/lazada. But I got no time
