QUOTE(Parody @ Dec 19 2010, 03:58 PM) The easiest method would be of course to buy the normal version instead of the animation version, that is if you can still find it.

If not, you could try using several layers of flat/matte topcoat over the animation version. That should reduce the shine.

There are usually 3 types of topcoat: flat/matte, semi-gloss, and gloss. The one you're looking for is flat/matte and here's how it'll look like after application:

And excellent choice on the CR-HOGIRE!
But i'm rather curious, which version did you choose? 1) CR-HOGIRE 2) CR-HOGIRE Noblesse Oblige 3) CR_HOGIRE Gunmetal

The Gundam's action base connects at the groin area, so you could put some AC kits on it but it won't be stable unless you modify it.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE(VincC454 @ May 5 2007, 10:32 AM) there is no real process of applying topcoat..its a spray can..so you need to apply them like you spray a spray paint lo..so meaning no need any kind of tools for applying topcoat but you can always put the topcoat can in hot or warm water few minutes before you spray them into you kits..its make the topcoat spray more smooth I don't really know what did you do wrong. Maybe you sprayed too much on just one area? It should be a clean and fast spray all over the kit.
Here's a very good tutorial on topcoat application from HobbyHovel
And try posting some pictures in the Modding Thread and ask the gurus there how to solve your messy white colour spot problem.
I'll be checking that thread as well

Hello all.... I'm still waiting for the package to arrive, I'm trying to avoid buying a second model kit until the first one is here but it is taking too long and I'm getting anxious. Next time I'll choose fedex, and avoid buying something during the holidays.

And wouldn't Fedex cost a bomb?

Yes Japan, I don't know why, I guess is the holidays, because I have 4 packages missing, 3 of them coming from the US (1/6 figures), and all of them where sent to me during the last week of the year, another package that was sent to me at early january is already here. According to HLJ website, Fedex cost si even cheaper than EMS.

You better check with the customs if they held onto your stuff and couldn't or forgotten to contact you.
