Hello all, I just joined the forum, I'm from Mexico.

I found the website this morning while looking for some pictures of finished armored core kits, they are not very common on the web but this place has plenty, so I decided to join and say hi.

I have never been a fan of the Armored Core games, I didn't play them much but since I was a little kid (I'm 33 now) I have been always fascinated with robots (I guess all kids like robots, at least all the kids that have seen a robot at some point of their life), and the AC ones look amazing.

Anyway, I have expended the past week trying to figure out if buying some mechwarrior miniatures was a good idea (I'm a big fan of the PC Game!) but I knew that this model kits existed, and decided to preorder a few:

-Crest CR-C89E Oracle Version
-GA GAN01-Sunshine-L
-Omer Type-Lahire Stasis SCL
-Rayleonard 04-Alicia Unsung

and I'm still thinking about to get this one, which is the only one currently in stock:

-Silent Line Crest Assault Type

But is not as appealing to me as the rest of the line, it would be the my first AC and I really want to star collecting, but I'm not sure that I want it and I don't want to be disappointed with this new hobby, should I give a try or wait for the next AC to be in stock?

Also I know this one is a very important robot in the game but I'm not sure if the price is worth it, is still available for preorder:

-Lineark White Glint & V.O.B. Set - Movie Color Version


Any advice you could give me about what buying and what not would be very appreciated.

That would be all, I hope to share some pics when I receive my firs AC.

I like the design of the White Glint, but I wish it wasn't so shiny, is there an easy way to change that?

So I did it, I ordered the Rosenthal CR-HOGIRE, and couple of gundam markers.

I hope it gets here soon.

The "normal" version, I would rather have gunmetal version but it wasn't available and I don't like the Noblesse Oblige so much, those shoulder cannons look like wings to me

Hello all....

I'm still waiting for the package to arrive, I'm trying to avoid buying a second model kit until the first one is here but it is taking too long and I'm getting anxious.

Next time I'll choose fedex, and avoid buying something during the holidays.

Yes Japan, I don't know why, I guess is the holidays, because I have 4 packages missing, 3 of them coming from the US (1/6 figures), and all of them where sent to me during the last week of the year, another package that was sent to me at early january is already here.


According to HLJ website, Fedex cost si even cheaper than EMS.

OK I received my package, first thing I noticed, 1 broken finger in one of the open hands.

Anyway I started last night, it's gonna take me a while it seems... kinda dissapointed that not all of the parts are molded in the color they appear on the promo pics, I didn't buy any paint or brushes, and it's gonna get hard to get the right shade of golden... but anyway I might try a different color.

Too late, I already opened everything, no biggie, it's just a finger, let's pretend it is battle damage, anyway I didn't want to wait another 3 weeks

After 5 hours I have the rifle, arms, legs and head ready, I broke the red visor in half, and I expent at least an hour looking for it, it is so freaking small!! I gave up and tried the white visor but I didn't like it (it's almost invisible with all those white pieces around), then I lost the pointy piece of the forehead and found the missing red piece while looking for it,

I'l try to finish it today and post some pics.
