Wanting to know the difference between the average Waxing and Brazilian Wax, I typed Brazilian Wax into Wikipedia.

I had to kick my little brother out of the room.

Hey, there's a new place in Bangsar called Somerset Nails that just recently started doing brazillian waxing.

They initiated with just doing mani's and pedi's but they've expanded.

They use very good wax over there, the last time I checked, it was from Australia, and it's good in the sense that it doesn't hurt your skin so much.

I think they sell after care products like the x-ed out cream as well, also imported.

Boys with a Brazilian is so sexy. Seriously. You might want to wax off any chest hair and tummy hair and back hair. Those get in the way if you catch my drift. Leave the legs and the arms. Some girls like chest hair but most Malaysian dudes just don't look as good with them.

Wax for legs(like Veet or Nair) is not suitable for Brazilian waxing. You'd need to get hot wax for that. Veet usually sells cold wax. Nair's hot wax is not easy to find in shops. Besides, go to a shop and get them to use "Hard Wax' on you. That one has the least amount of pain. It's not recommended to do a Brazilian on your own. Bikini, maybe. It would be way too messy and hurt way too much and you probably wouldn't be able to see what you were doing very well.

I've been to Strip Curve before for Brazillian, butt, armpit, tummy and chest. It's pretty good. I think the Brazillian was fantastic....much nicer and cleaner.

Who is this girl selling the waxing stuff. Probaby I can contact her to get stuff?

Didn't realise TheNewColour posted this too!

On Jln Telawi 3, Bangsar, there's a nail and wax shop called Sommerset Nails (next to Starbucks).

Business Hours
Tuesday - Thursday: 11.00am - 8.00pm
Friday & Saturday: 11.00am - 9.00pm
Sunday: 11.00am - 7.00pm
Tel: (03) 2287 8887

JALAN TELAWI 3

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA

The waxer has a lot experience and she used to work in a popular company in Bangsar. I practically followed her from her previous employer!

Full brazilian RM89.
First time customers gets discount.

Brazilian Wax is basically removing all the hair in the "south" area. You can even ask your waxer to create shapes like arrows or heart shape but i heard it hurts a little more. 2 types of wax are used - soft and hard. Hard wax is less painful but if you want to use full hard wax Brazilian, it will cost you extra 30%. I suggest you to trip full hard wax to get use to the pain and switch to the normal method. You can ask your waxer for advice on how it is done "normally". I wouldn't advise people to do this by yourself. You can see everything down there and you might accidentally burn yourself with the hot wax. Waxers will pluck tiny hair for you (sometimes wax doesn't pull everything out) and you have to flip on your stomach and they will wax your inner butt area (totally pain-free!).

Wax is just removing hair with wax. Soft wax is applied on an area (eg. armpit) and a cloth is place on top of the wax and it is pulled accordingly. Hard wax is applied and pulled without cloth (less painful).

The only place I know who does boy Brazilian is Strip in Bangsar and The Curve. You better call ahead to check first. Please note they add (not sure!) 40% extra.

And I think men should give it a go! It's an experience! icon_rolleyes.gif
