Bro iPlay,
I dont have CherryWood ler..What is your application for such light rod? Perhaps i can recommend you some rods that i have at home?

Gotta sell off some rods, too many at home now.. smile.gif Most of it is light to medium tackle setup smile.gif

Bro Alex,
I have intention to make it in December, date unsure yet as i was planning for the Christmas weekend...more days to enjoy mah.. smile.gif

Will find out more about the pricing and details. Then only i'll publish the dates and the included packages.

To all anglers,
Watching the recent Rod n Line video that they did popping with light setup in Langkawi is truly and eye opener. Anyone keen to try? All i need is about 4 pax to start the journey.

Of course the more the merrier, where ciggies and beer is cheap~

Langkawi popping
Date: TBA

1. Tetek
2.
3.
4.

Bro iPlay,
Let me go thru the setups that i have in my store now.

Will revert to you specs and the price as well. Worry not about the price, it will be very much cheaper compared to market price and value.

Added on September 19, 2007, 1:55 pmAll anglers,

worry not i'm ok.

Currently in the specialist's clinic doing online while waiting for the doctor. The CT scan result is out liao, but heck~ none of it is understandable. I get to see myself.

It was due to pains behind my eye ball which have been happening on and off over the years. Recently it was quite intense, thus i opt for clearer diagnostics....

Dont get to see any tomans in the report, but guppy/ikan emas got ler... tongue.gif

ok i back what did i miss?

i need to buy a rod to start my project...

omg..theres over 1000 of rods and reels to choose..i confused doh.gif  !!

Bro Macpro,
Having Rm1k for start up is more than enough.

You have to determine your fishing game type. Would it be Popping? Would it be Jigging? Or would it be bottom?

All the setup mentioned above requires different setup and some gears is better in application than the other.. smile.gif

Perhaps you can share more about it, then we'll see what we can advice/do.

Added on September 20, 2007, 9:33 amHaving 2 speed reels is like a gearbox as per Bro Q's comment.

You see, the 2 speed is not meant for you to speed up your cranking or ratio for speed. The 2 speed is to ensure that you have power with lower cranking ratio. smile.gif

The high speed will be somewhere 5:1 to 6:1 where as the slow speed will be between 2.5:1 to 3.5:1

Slow speed you have power
High speed you have speed for cranking.

shocking.gif  shocking.gif  shocking.gif seriously kaa? Kenot be littad meh... MuaHaHaHa...  laugh.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif

Frankly, i never do anything... may be its cracks due to AG toman that day.. i hardly use STX that day maa.. all fish also with chronach.. not becoz i sayang STX but i prefer lower poundage rod which fixed with chronach..
Then , back here bro rory helping me service.. he told me edi.. but then still i used for two days and on third day its not moving anymore.. reel line on same spot..  sad.gif

Added on September 20, 2007, 1:43 pm
I pick up this afternoon 330pm..  nod.gif

Bro Vw,

The reason the line is not moving is because the guard at the worm shaft is not moving. It's the retainer at the bottom that is like a bulan sabit which makes the line guide moves.. smile.gif

Yours cracked and it have loosen the retainer pressure.

Anyway, my STX handle bearing rosak liao..maybe too much jigging.. smile.gif I have replaced 4x bearing. Total cost is about Rm30

Suggest that you go to ABoy shop as ask him if he have any compatible cap for the retainer.. smile.gif

Alot other reels are actually compatible.. smile.gif

That's why i asked you to bring the ch100a, perhaps i can give you the cap if compatible.. smile.gif

Bro Vw,
I use STX for light jigging nia...all those below 80grams of jig.. smile.gif Other than that, i'll use the Daiwa Cy

Since you are at Kedai ABoy, i strongly suggest you to get Daiwa Cy. Ask him for his best price to you. If it's still expensive, i'll get my price from him. It has all the similar specs as Saltiga, but of course Saltiga got more specs la.. smile.gif

Added on September 20, 2007, 2:20 pmto add in to Daiwa Cy,

Size of 4000 can hentam 300m of 40lb braided or PE3~PE3.5 .

To my experience, you dont need anything heavier for Malaysia water.. smile.gif

300m is more than enough to hentam alot of fishes size.. smile.gif Somemore with 40lb braid...
