Awesome. 20C temp drop for the change. It is really worth to change the cooling to the new one though.

QUOTE(ianho @ Oct 4 2007, 06:58 PM)
Well, the GTX SLi can handle the game, it's just that the CPU cudn cope with Bioshock. It was on 100% utilisation ALL the time. I had to turn off all background stuff like msn, antivirus n all that to cope. It's very troublesome to do that everytime I wanna play the game so easiest way was just to upgrade to quad core so my 2x GTX can really stretch it's legs. laugh.gif

I am having the same issues for my FX-62. I think the CPU is on bottleneck when running the latest games such as Bioshock and World in Conflict. With DX10, I have to close MSN and YM in order to make sure that there is no lagging during the runtime.

I think it is better to prepare for Quad Core for future games because it seems the trend for more CPU demand already begin.

Nope. I think GT is a solution for Nvidia to sustain GTS price.

I just got news from BFG person regarding 8800GT OC and OC2. BFG will start selling them to customer channel in November. Thus, at the moment they will continue to sell the GTS and waiting to see what is the outcome after the GT release later.

This means, there is possibility that GTS will be discard depends on GT demand and performance wise.
