Not really, depends what fan you gonna use for the AIO tho.

The stock fan at my deepcool castle is kinda noise at 100% , Might getting some Arctic F12 to replace it tho so i can operated 100% at all time.

I was on water cooling with a 360mm radiator + triple Arctic F12 fans. Then out of a sudden, there's a leak between the hose & pump. Took me a while to clear everything up.

After that, I swapped to this, and running all applications as I did previously without any sort of overheating sign. The water cool parts & components all sold left the EK water block. No regret going back to air cool.

So many people recommend to go Air cool , oh well i'll wait for my new castle to die first then only swap back to aircool with Noctua NH-D15

in most situations, the fans on the AIO will be also used as the exhaust or intake so basically you will have fewer fans overall as compared to aircooling.

it wont really solve much. AMD is just hot, that's all. changing to D15 will give you roughly the same temp as your current 240 AIO.

when it comes to thermals, AMD will tend to stay at its peak so in your 5600X case, 50-80C average at all times but it doesnt go higher than that. Intel will see much lower temps at normal usage but will go 90C when you max it. So what you are seeing is absolutely normal... you can consider using low power mode by cutting your cpu performance in your windows power settings when you dont need cpu power to drop the temps for normal usage.

max out 70c is perfectly normal and good temp TS, dont worry about it

Ya, AMD is just hot like you said at least it doesn't go 90c at peak. well what you have any experience in using low power mode ? for the time being i just leave the Asus Performance Enhancement (ON) and run DOSP at 3600mhz for my ram. i came across an article mentioning that fixed the CPU ratio at 45 and keep voltage at 1.2 or 0.01+- just incase its not stable but had yet to give it a try tho.

Whats your opinion on this matter?

I'm using 5600x + Scythe Mugen 5 ARGB air cooler in Lian Li TU150 itx case. Getting near 60c on normal usage. Not a good thermal performance. So decided to undervolt my cpu to 1.2v and actually manage to reduce it by 10c. Now around 48c. If you are not comfortable with your thermal performance, you should consider that.

Yo bro, Did you setup your CP ratio fixed at 45 ? or just leave it auto and set the voltage fixed at 1.2v ?

Just ignore and close the thermal monitoring tools and use the cpu. Any changes or tweaks usually ends up with performance or stability problems. Fixed cpu ratio will cause it to run hot when idle. Yes voltage comes down but powerdraw still high due to LLC. Low powermode will drop temps by almost 10C but the cpu will lose more than 20% performance so it's a huge trade off. You can toggle between power modes for browsing/gaming/working. But if you lazy with all these annoying issues then just change to intel like myself.

Going back to intel after they dump this 14nm tech .

Long way to go they will need some time to optimize their new big little architecture and windows11. Pretty sure there will be very inconsistent performance for a few months. Some apps it will be super fast but some apps super slow.

Well i think everyone is afraid to move over at early stage as you mentioned its gonna be unstable and alot of app compatibility issue.

I actually swapped from AMD to an older 10th gen because also worry of inconsistent performance on the 11th gen. But well since ive been using AMD for a pretty long time sometimes you do have to observe the fan because sometimes the processor will stuck at max boost for very random things. Mine stuck that way on a music player... back then didnt notice so it was running over 90C for 8+ hours everyday as I was using a tiny noctua NL9... and that cpu went to RMA .

Just fix the voltage.
