congrats on being successful in making your device "open".

if you are running 1.1.3 or 1.1.4 on your device, just click an APP and hold until the whole page starts to jiggle, then move that APP to whichever page or section you want on the "launcher page". then click the HOME button to stop the page from jiggling.

for your themes, are they summerboard themes are customize themes? you need to install either summerboard or customize from installer to use themes.

wandererx and bearbear, did you install the 'january update' (5 apps) from installer? i think you need to install that to have the jiggling function and lyric function as well.

maybe you need to add a repository. add this to installed and see if you can find the iPhone apps after refreshing.

what f/w are you running and jailbroken? did you install the summerboard fix?

you can buy a movie from iTunes if you have an account with iTunes with credit, OR if you live in a country with a valid iTunes store. Malaysia is not one of those countries.

you can read PDFs if you have jailbroken your device and installed the necessary PDF reader. by default, it does not read PDFs.

pls do not suggest cracking commercial software. there are lots of free converters out there.

0hmyg0d, i use both Media Coder (http://mediacoder.sourceforge.net/device/ipod_touch.html) which is free and specific for the iPod touch or iPhone. Another one i use is Videora (http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/iPod/) which is also free.

were you running a jailbroken ipod touch before? if yes, how is that compared with 2.0?

from everything i've read, you do need to "un-JB" your device before installing 2.0. and make sure you are running iTunes 7.7 too.

so Tap Tap is part of 2.0? or is that a free app from the App store?

locate me cannot work in this part of the world unless your wireless spot is already mapped by Google.

go to installer and install Community Sources. it has quite a number of repos in there.

once you start loading in videos, 16 gb will start to be more suitable. but i do agree with the rest here, it really depends on how you use it.

from what i've read, you need to restore to fresh 1.1.4 before upgrading to 2.0
