If it's Mary J. Blige on the artist album cover then it's the one. Just ask them, is this iPod Touch's firmware runs 1.1.3.

No iPod has radio built in, but there's alot of 3rd party accessories to do that.

Added on January 31, 2008, 8:47 pmiPod Shuffle-1GB,wearability (has a clip), smallest iPod.

iPod Nano-4/8GB, now with video playback, thinnest iPod.

iPod Classic-80/160GB, good for storing lots of music/videos/photos, HDD based iPod.

There's no more iPod Mini, it was replaced by Nano.

I must say I'm very satisfied with my iPod running 1.1.3 with new features, lyric support and web clips are awesome. Unfortunately can't stay long at this firmware. 1.1.4 is coming so in order to run SDK developed apps we gotta use that firmware.

1.1.4 firmware update is probably free and of cause it'll always remain free, but the apps developed thru SDK by developers should cost a price. They work hard for it and they deserve it.

You gotta have 1.1.2 jailbroken. Then go to Installer and choose Dev Teams way: 1.1.3 Jailbreak+Apps. You're good to go from there.

Btw, sometimes my iPod still don't respond to my touch. I'm so frustrated and sad. Send for checking at service centre but they said no problem. In fact this occur randomly and now mostly. I've to press Sleep/Wake button to make it work. Do I have to send them again or what's your advice? Anyone working with any Apple Authorized Reseller can give some advice and words? icon_question.gif

Anybody using Gelaskin, it sells for a freaking RM69.90 for a set (front & back). But some decals look great on the Touch.

...but the Gelaskin only protects the back, so front no problem as anti scratch glass but what about side? It does not covers the side right?

Got my new iPod touch, it's week 45 and it's amazing so far.

Basically 1.1.4 is just bug updates and preparation for SDK apps. iPodtouchmaster's repository server is down so can't jailbreak OTA.

It's a replacement unit, I think it's a refurb unit.

Going to use iPodtouchmaster's method for 1.1.4 jailbreaking, will keep you guys updated. Starting from 1.1.2.

Nope, it's optional. The iPhone apps are an additional. Just make it an iPhone without the phone for now.

Running 1.1.4 using iPodtouchmaster's method. His methods always working great. rclxms.gif

That's the way, iTunes expect you to have your old photos in your PC or Mac so when you add new photos it will automatically sync and update your photo library in your iPod.

You can use 3rd party apps for arranging your iPod's media such as Yamipod. The thing is current 3rd party apps mentioned does not work well with iPod touch so just use iTunes for the time being.

You can save your photos on your .Mac Web Gallery or Photobucket.

A PC or Mac can only sync 5 iPods.

If you purchase the January Software Upgrade on your computer (A), you need to sync with that computer only. If using others will not upgrade your iPod with the upgrade.

Restart it again.

Hold the Sleep/Wake + Home button until Apple logo shows up, but keep pressing the Home button until the display shows the connect to iTunes with the USB Cable. Then iTunes should detect your iPod as in recovery mode and you can restore your iPod firmware.

Added on March 11, 2008, 2:08 amBtw, make sure you've plugged in the USB Cable to your PC or Mac.

I don't know what happened, when I'm listening to my music all of the sudden my iPod just restarted and it shows the connect to iTunes display. I was like, argghh!

From 1.1.4 jailbroken to the lousy 1.1.1. And don't forget, all of my medias. vmad.gif

You know what man, I'm thinking of staying 'stock'. Currently downloading 1.1.4 firmware and restore it. Then that's it, no more jailbreaking.

Btw, I'm thinking to get iPhone. Will I be regret later?

I guess, I and a few of the members I know like zc_squash who fall in love withe the iPhone after using iPod touch.

I was thinking to sell it off and get an iPhone. tongue.gif
