You know, they just gonna send to HQ Service Centre which I don't like cause I hate waiting. Not 1 on 1 change. The thing is Apple Malaysia's Warranty Policy sucks, in the States if you have any problem with the new bought iPod or Mac then you can just go to any Apple Store and they'll immediately replace for a brand new.

For a new replacement? iPod touch is a really hot product. I guess that's the only Apple product in Apple Malaysia's history that is best selling. Well, I don't mind the wait as long as it's a new replacement.

Wouldn't it be troublesome to unpack at the store just to check? You can still go home and record a nice unboxing videos or maybe reviews. Then maybe after few days of usage, problem rises up. Then fire it up.

Unpacking Apple products at the retail stores just to check for problems aren't so professional and shabby. I understand the impulse of having a 100% working product upon purchase, everyone else does want that but it's best just pack up home and unbox it.

Stucked pixels can be cleared, not dead pixels. In your case maybe, running different colors at fast speed can clear it. You're playing some videos with lots of colors?

Can anyone care to elaborate more about the .mov file format? I can't sync .mov files.

Nope, no problem while syncing/updating with iTunes. Unless new firmware that might patched the Safari hole.

At least 4 dead pixels are entitled for one on one change.

I've a problem with my Touch. I set my video to play videos to: From Beginning. But it always play videos a little ahead of 10-20 seconds. A bug or a problem?

Does anyone here have the old Apple Power Adapter, the one that's kinda huge compare to the mini new ones. I wonder it works on charging the iPod touch or any new iPod's?

I feel like the right earpiece on every earphones are louder than left while using my Touch, anyone's the same?

If not in use, you can:

-put it into Sleep Mode by pressing Sleep/Wake button once.
-put it into Shutdown Mode by pressing Sleep Wake button for a few seconds.

You're planning to bulk the Invisible Shield? I'm interested too, currently putting on the silicone case makes my iPod much thicker and feels not so good on hand.

iPod touch is using flash memory, so you can just use it as external flash drive but unfortunately not for iPod. Latest firmware update on iPhone does allow external flash drive.
