RM1399 for 8GB, does anyone realize new batches with apps cost extra RM60?

Before, RM1339 for 8GB. Now RM1399 for 8GB with apps. (Look out for John Lennon on the album art or ask the staffs)

Old batches that don't have apps pre-installed going at RM1099 which I think currently the stocks are all done selling.

I'm currently running 1.1.1 again with tons of apps, but the sound quality is a letdown. Thinking for 1.1.4 again.

With the supplied stock earbuds, haha. You can't feel it.

Btw, just done a hard jailbreaking on 1.1.4 by iPodtouchMaster's method. Pretty simple and good, all you gotta do is restore to 1.1.4 fresh, then run his modded version of ZiPhone, and lastly add his repository source for the iPhone apps and Summerboard fix.

Maybe try to restore the firmware, and try again.

Anyone tried using their USB power adapter to charge with your cellphone or other devices?

To be honest, every iPod has mediocre sound quality when using the stock earbuds. Most of the more experienced iPod users know well about their own iPod, so instead of using the stock or bundle earbuds like you said, we tend to go for our own taste of earphones or headphones. Example using Sennheiser headphones or Shure earphones. Trust me, your iPod will sound good when using these earphones/headphones.

Video quality is great, bright & crispy display and I can assure you that it's better than the crappy China MP4 players out there. Just take my advice, don't even take a second look or glance at the lousy players. Invest for an iPod, you'll love it.

If you're media load type of people, you can choose Classic over Nano. Bigger screen and bigger capacity (HDD). The Classic uses hard disk while Nano uses flash drive, I think you know what's the pros and cons for this. Just go to any Apple Retailer in Malaysia and feel the iPods yourself before you decide on purchasing, the experience is waiting for you.

Guys, any nice casing to recommend for the iPod touch? Maybe Griffin iClear or SwitchEasy Capsule Touch? Silicone case attracts lots of dust though.

Got myself a black Speck SeeThru case, it's pretty nice and still keeping nice slim profile.

Myself got a wireless router just for jailbreaking too.

There's no way to transfer your music back to your computer, and 1.1.4 is the most stable. Restore to fresh 1.1.4 firmware, then use iPodtouchmaster's modded ZiPhone and after it's done doing it's thing then you'll have Installer in the homescreen.

Add his repository into the Installer (http://ipodtouchmaster.com/files/repo.xml) and install his 1.1.4 apps, it includes web clips and wiggle icons. The rest of the app is up to you.

Well, Switch in Penang and mainland is selling it. They even have skins for the iPhone.

Yup, only the back. The main point is to protect the shiny back from scratches.

Yeah, RM1399 comes preloaded with new apps while RM1199 is not. Most of the stocks out there comes preloaded and it's pricing at RM1399.
