Landed properties here starting at 2k. "Decent" ones starting at 3k. Is it cheap compare to others?

I see postings in Cybersouth (Dengkil) as low as 1500 for 3 room landed house. We are considering to rent there even though its 10km away from Cyberjaya where I work. Also, cant get much feedback bout the community in Cybersouth as well.

Back to Cyberjaya, my wife like it here.. not too crowded. Community is nice in general. Low to none crime rate. You can cycle around even 11pm onwards and it's safe in my experience.

The environment in cybersouth would not be as good as cyberjaya imo. Another option is around 16 sierra area, not too far from cyber and peaceful environment.

depends on where youre working imo.

i personally like cbj environment. it's basically a calm city where you can find pretty much everything there although might be not much options.

if you're working in KL however, dont think it's a good idea since it's 40km away unless your office is near lrt/mrt area since cbj mrt is going to open early 2023

For traffic, the plus point is the MEX highway, quite smooth to KL even far distance

If the feeder bus shuttles through enough condos in downtown and along Psn Multimedia, that will be great.

Imo, if consider only south KV, seri kembangan is miles better than cyberjaya.
Tol free to KL, better food options esp Chinese food, SK/SJK...

Lol how can this guy say Cyberjaya is better than Batu Caves.

Even without MCO, after 8PM Cyberjaya is a dead city.Very limited options of food, shopping malls quite far from each other. It's a place if you are looking for calmness and avoid from city.

Batu caves on the other hand, plenty of food choices! Amenities are everywhere. More 'happening' bro. 10km from KLCC how do you call it ceruk.

MRT here not for people to hangout in hotspots leh
If ure in cyber ure definitely gonna be driving around locally (as with any other location)

Having MRT would provide nice option for KL work commute

But agree la, should have MRT at tamarind area where u commercial, residentials, uni, hospitals and int school

Well I guess it really depends on what you prefer.

Generally, I prefer less crowded place like Cyberjaya. A calm, laid-back city if I have to describe it. I work here so obviously, travel is no issue. But yeah, I can recommend staying here. If you are into biking, this place is good due to wide bike lanes and less traffic. Few km away from Putrajaya wetlands, PCP, lake, etc...

However, some people prefer more "lively" place.

For me, I've been working in Cyberjaya more than a decades and had been staying here for couple of years. I enjoyed less to none traffic jam. A lot of green parks everywhere. Crime rate is zero at least in my residential area - Setia Eco Glades and a project as a whole also zero for crimes, tats at least 6-8 years since 1st phase roll out.

And so far it is the only town planning with wide bicycle lanes. And walking path almost every part in Cyberjaya.

Food wise: I must said it is more than sufficient. If u enjoy non halal, there's Third Avenue shoplots, Few shops around Glomac near Pelita and many more. And more are popping out.
If u wanna experience something else, go dengkil, equine park, bukit puchong or even sri petaling... all around 10-15 minutes drive only.

Shopping/grocery: Within Cyberjaya: there are few. Village grocer, jaya grocer, star grocer and few more big one are coming...
Again, if u enjoy aeon or aeon big, they are just around 15 mins away only.

When I started working in CBJ, there's only Oldtown tat open 24/7 and when we crave for non halal, we always go Dengkil or SK. Its just few minutes away via drive. Now u have plenty of choice, even Taco Bell open its very first branch in CBJ, tats shows something right? Got potential...

Cbj no more spaces edy, tats y u have Cyberwest (Gamuda), north (Bkt Puchong), east(Putrajaya/PJ) and south(Dengkil) now whereby none of them are belong to Cyberjaya. Many development are booming up also. Government also setup many kebangsaan schools, big huge hospital which opening soon. Many universities, private school, international skool around the corner.

It is still a very peaceful and very serene in this growing cities. If u miss oversea or travel, the gateway is just 25 minutes away. tongue.gif

If you thought of staying in Cyberjaya, its either u come now when there are still have many choices, price range still affordable. Or come later, when amenities, facilities n development is there. Then u probably need prepare more bullets and pay higher for stay or move even further than Cyberjaya.

If later when cbj no more spaces or prices gone up. Then the question probably come back again? Should I move to Nilai? Bandar Salak South? hahaha... just my 2 cents.

That's show development n population booming...

Public school:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyberjaya#Education_facilities

New one is in Cyber 10. Behind some housing area. In front of the Setia Safiro entrance...
Still under construction - click me for locations

And few more... heard over verbal conversation, details may roll out later.

Anyone here have any experience staying in Cyberjaya? I find that it is one of the few places that is still considered affordable and you can get landed properties at a much lower price, and sort of close to cities and advanced community, compared to more outskirt places like Kajang/Seri Kembangan/Batu Caves for the same price
*
I moved in to cbj last year, very happy with my decision, some reasons:
1) neighbours are good
2) sjkc here is new, good facilities, good teachers, and it doesn't take a lot of time to send and pick up kids, can reach the school within 5 minutes driving due to smooth traffic.
3) public parks here are well maintained and we enjoyed jogging. Even my friend from kajang came here during weekend to enjoy the parks.
4) klia transit, I work in kl sentral area, I can reach home within 40 minutes from office to home not affected by rain, accident, etc. Klia transit travel time is 20 minutes. I am not a fans of mrt/lrt as they have many stops and take longer travel time.
5) 24 bookstore, 24 hours gym etc. But cannot open right now due to MCO.
6) can reach every shop in Cyberjaya within 20 minutes? Many foods to choose actually. Bak kut teh also available.
7) weekend if want go IKEA cheras eta 35 minutes, just use Google map to search and you would know w if Cyberjaya is really far from kl. For me time is more important than distance.
8) going back hometown in Johor also easy direct reach the toll entrance in 5 minutes.

It would depend on the life style you want, where you work etc.

My wife asked me why not I buy one more unit in my taman, I said I got to sell blood. This is how much we enjoy cbj and see her potential.

Just note Cybersouth and Cyberjaya is not the same.
