Anyone here have any experience staying in Cyberjaya? I find that it is one of the few places that is still considered affordable and you can get landed properties at a much lower price, and sort of close to cities and advanced community, compared to more outskirt places like Kajang/Seri Kembangan/Batu Caves for the same price

Its not a rural area. All convenience of those cities can be found here, with less traffic. Restaurants, education centers, public transportation, parks, sports activities, and much more. Proper infrastructure and internet, close proximity to airport.

Cyberjaya is under MP Sepang, and the infras are not well maintained.

I lived in cyber for 5 years.

if kajang/seri kembangan/batu caves considered as outskirt, then cyber will be outskirt of the outskirt

it's just you don't appreciate the cost of the infrastructure and its maintenance. do you think the three or four interchanges connecting putrajaya and cbj were cheap?

For Muslim, good place with lots of Arabic food, local Malay plenty also. For Non- Muslim, head to Bukit Puchong for non-Halal food.

There's surprisingly, non-Halal food hiding behind a row of shoplots. Won't see it from main road, have to purposely go inside

Some mixed rice, Cantonese roast, noodles.

Now got a nice bah kut teh shop also.

Personally feels this is a good place to raise family, light traffic n open spaces with plenty of greenery and parks including quick access to the ones in putrajaya.

Thanks for tall the replies. Currently I am staying and Subang Jaya so yes, Cyberjaya landed houses are cheaper than where I am staying now haha.

Almost every USJ here is 5-10mins drive/walk to an LRT station, bank, food place, mall, uni, clinics, so was curious how convenient in terms if all these infra structure is in cyberjaya.

Because when compared to few other outskirt townships like Batu Caves/Rawang/Semenyih/Kajang, my personal experience is infrastructure is still lackluster, although properties are far cheaper there.

roads here are certainly better than batu caves/kajang but that's about it. i think you'll get a huge culture shock moving from usj. unless you really like peace and quiet and driving far distances..

Driving far distance is if want to go outside cyberjaya, shops or restaurants within cyberjaya about 5 - 10 mins drive

Landed properties here starting at 2k. "Decent" ones starting at 3k. Is it cheap compare to others?

I see postings in Cybersouth (Dengkil) as low as 1500 for 3 room landed house. We are considering to rent there even though its 10km away from Cyberjaya where I work. Also, cant get much feedback bout the community in Cybersouth as well.

Back to Cyberjaya, my wife like it here.. not too crowded. Community is nice in general. Low to none crime rate. You can cycle around even 11pm onwards and it's safe in my experience.

you are blinded by the "living in landed property" mirage. Why must you live in landed?

Batu caves or seri kembangan is definitely better than cyberjaya.

Esp batu cave. You're blinded by marketing, my friend. Batu cave is within KL itself. Cyberjaya is some hutan belukar somewhere.

If you so fixated with landed, why don't u check out Ulu Yam Baru. Cheap only.

then stay in subang jaya. it's much better than cyberjaya.

if u can't afford landed there, just stay condo.

It's not the property. It's the location and the nieghbourhood.

And also, u don't have to buy new from developer. Why gib developer your hard earned money at ridiclous price?

Just buy resale.
